Cambridge Launchpad

About Cambridge Launchpad

Cambridge LaunchPad is a movement led by STEM companies that invests their talent and resources to excite, educate and empower young people.

Cambridge Launchpad Description

Cambridge LaunchPad is a STEM outreach programme led by prominent STEM organisations and managed by Form the Future CIC.

It offers hands-on experience of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths for young people aged 8 to 18.

Cambridge LaunchPad was developed to support and contribute to the growing demand for engineers, technologists and scientists, and to encourage more girls and young women to consider STEM careers.

The programme recognises and rewards students through experiences rather than monetary gifts. The students from 8–18 years old will be involved through their school careers, and will be encouraged post-18 to join the alumni where they can be an ambassador to younger students.

Happy International Women's Day! We're delighted to work with so many incredible female STEM leaders, who inspire the next generation of young women.
But the issues with lack of representation in STEM goes beyond gender - STEM careers should be open to all!
