They are places where families feel safe, at home and where they can spend quality time together, enabling parents to be parents not caregivers.
... EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Their family centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, counselling and volunteer services in the family home.

Blind media student Matthew is following his dream to be a sports radio presenter and joins National Braille Week to help raise awareness of alternative formats that open up the written world to people with vision impairment.
A huge Spurs fan, Matthew is able to learn in the radio studio thanks to braille stickers on the controls.
Matthew said: “Using studio technology and having help on how to adapt to my disability has been great. My dream job would be working in a radio s...tation preferably presenting.
"I listen to radio a lot. I never thought that one day I could actually do it, but being at CRC has made me realise I can. I’m a huge football fan and can talk for hours about it.”

On World Teachers' Day we are celebrating all of our amazing tutors and support staff at Cambridge Regional College, who do more than just teach their subject.
We run a regular series of inspiring Teacher Takeaway Top Tips via our Staff News and this one from Helen Hall, Lecturer in Hair and Media Make Up, is perfect to show how teachers go the extra mile.
"Supporting learners during their journey at Cambridge Regional College is paramount to their success.
... "Take a minute to consider every learner’s experience each morning around their journey to college.
"Are they dropping off siblings or own children at school, did they get stuck in traffic, do they have a parent at home who is unwell?
"We can never assume that a learner is always at fault for lateness or poor behaviour; often there is an explanation that can go towards understanding why poor behaviour is present.
"It is our duty of care to take time to talk to the learners to find out their needs.
"If a learner requires support, we will liaise with the appropriate teams to ensure they receive the appropriate support."
Happy World Teachers' Day! http://ow.ly/fxbl50wBtdc
