"The crowd gasps with delight, then there’s laughter. The adults in the audience have become children again and the children look on in awe." Matilda's Miss Honey Gina Beck on the moment that gives her goosebumps. #WorldTheatreDay http://ow.ly/QZrN30jb0jS

Wow what a show! Absolutely LOVED Matilda!!! There wasn’t a weak link in the cast they were all phenomenal! Loved every second! Thank you so much for you all putting your hearts & souls into a fantastic production!

User

What an incredible theatre experience! I was floored by the brilliance of the music, actors and amazing set. Go, it's pure genius.

We took our two sons as a birthday present for our 9 year old . He has been wanting to see Matilda for ages. So as a special surprise we booked front row seats A13 - 16 . Wow what fantastic seats they were. You were almost on the stage itself. My son sat next to the stairs in the middle A13 and all the characters used this to get on and off stage so he was made up. The staff were very friendly and and I didn't think £3 for a small slush was too expensive for a London theatre. Would definitely recommend anyone to watch Matilda...

User

Totally amazing. The cast were all fantastic, especially Matilda.

Beautifully written, capturing wonderful memories from one of mine & my daughters favourite books.

User

This was the best birthday present ever the kids did a amazing job and the show was out of this world our seats were great too we loved it thanks xxx

User

Matilda was the best show I’ve seen! Uplifting and fun. My girls loved it too. Their friend was in it so that made it all the more special. I’d see it again tomorrow if I could! Friendly theatre staff too.

User

Matilda the Musical is absolutely incredible! It’s funny, clever and the actors are just anaIng!! I have now seen this show at the Cambridge Theatre 6 times!! That’s saying something!! Lara Wollington, Kerry Ingram, Clio Demetriou, And Kitty Peterkin were amazing Matildas!! And all Miss Trunchbulls I have seen so far are insanely good!!

User

Little chaotic when I first got there was waiting to go in, in the small entrance area to be told I had to go outside for my entrance. But the staff were amazing, I had an issue with the people sat behind me being noisy and loud through the first half, spoke to the man on the upper circle stall who got Steve the supervisor to help me and he kindly moved me to a spare seat which ended up having an even better view. It made the night so much more enjoyable with out noisy people behind me.

User

I attended Matilda on a school trip, the staff where pleasant, the seats where comfortable, the show was AMAZING

User

Excellent show beautifully captures the story and film of Matilda which has always been my favourite book and film since I was tiny, at nearly 22 it's still my absolutely favourite. Usually I vow to only see a theatre show once but yesterday I went to see Matilda for the second time just as incredible as the first time around, noticed things hadnt seen before an was great to be able sing along more this time Emma Moore was a fantastic Matilda would highly recommend the show and plan to see again when you tour if you come to Southend .. beautifully captured the magic would highly recommend to anyone that hasn't seen it x

User

Cant fault Cambridge theatre and its staff. On Sunday we supported a blind lady in her wheelchair to watch a matinee performance of Matilda. The show was absolutely amazing and we all thoroughly enjoyed it but we couldn't of asked for more helpful staff also. Supporting someone in such a busy place who is disabled cant be daunting but the staff at Cambridge Theatre couldn't of done a better job of looking after us. Thank you all for a lovely day.

User

Best show I have ever sat through. My daughter and I loved every second. Cast was sensational. The theatre was perfect as was the staff. If u can go don't hesitate to book!

User

Been to watch Matilda today and OMG the show is amazing! Out standing performance by everyone and especially all the children and of course Matilda!

Highly recommend we have thoroughly enjoyed the show!

User

Amazing experience from start to finish, staff were fantastic and the show was the best I've ever seen. So gutted it's all over will have to book another visit soon I think. Well done everyone involved.

User

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish great cast nice theatre and helpful staff made for a brilliant eve and Emma our Matilda was amazing

User

The musical was fantastic, I would 100% recommend! Down side was the theatre itself, with going at Easter the place was very busy (as expected) and there is limited space to wait before the show. We were sat in the stalls and my seat was ample but my partner is 6"2 and it was a little short on leg room. The gentleman next to me was easily 6"5 and looked extremely uncomfortable. There is limited space to put your handbag and drinks so I had to hold them during the show, so bare in mind they are the original seats and apart of the experience. We would go again!

User

Matilda was great, all the actors, and I mean all, had such energy you could feel it. Electrify. The theatre was fine, our seats were good too. An enjoyable evening was had by all, adults & maggots!

User

this feedback is not about the Matilda the musical but the facility (the theatre).

the holding area before entering to stall is rather small and can quickly get stuffy as people population builds up.

the seat can be a little too hard to sustain comfortably for hours and small in size for a 6 footer.

User

The staff make no effort to control the awful behaviour of some of the audience, with talking, eating, whispering, kicking of the back of seats, taking place throughout the production.
