Cambridge Union Society - Press Office Description

All press releases and updates will be posted to this page to keep CUS members and members of the press up to date regarding activity at the Cambridge Union Society.

Cambridge Union Press Relations - Easter Term 2015

- If you would like to interview one of our speakers or debaters directly, please get in touch several weeks in advance, and we can liaise with them on your behalf. The Press Officer will be also available for interview in the Union after all high profile events without advanced warning. In order to allow us to better manage visits by external speakers, we generally request that they pass all press requests onto us to facilitate. We will endeavour to allow as much media access to our speakers as possible.

- If you would like to be added to the press release mailing list, please email pressofficer@cus.org stating your preferred methods of contact, and the media outlet you represent.

- Please note that for the hour preceding all Cambridge Union debates and speaker events, a dedicated press room will be made available for use by accredited members of the press. Footage of events will be made available to anyone using this room, and any photos or film footage being released by the CUS for the press will also be kept in this room. Rooms will change depending on availability, and this page will be updated with details.

- The Tab, The Cambridge Student (TCS), Cam FM and Varsity are automatically allocated one reserve seat each in the balcony for all CUS events. If you would like to request a similar benefit for your publication, please email press@cus.org. Please also email if you would like us to reserve more seats for a larger press team.
