Cambridge University Venture Capital & Private Equity Club Description

The Venture Capital & Private Equity Club was founded in 2010 to provide networking opportunities, practical training and the presence of the venture capital and private equity industries at the University of Cambridge. The Club’s events are designed for you if you’re planning a career in these industries or if you plan to raise capital as an entrepreneur and need to make the right contacts.

The club is responsible to:

1) Facilitate, complement and support any venture capital and investment-specific events that are organized by the enterprise societies and other organizations of the University.

2) Provide advanced level training, networking and conferences for individuals, who preferably possess a background in finance or business (professional or academic) and that are interested in the venture capital and /or private equity industry.

3) Help to organise and facilitate the university-internal competition to select teams for the annually held Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC), the European MBA Private Equity Case Competition and other competitions related to venture capital and private equity.
