Cambridge Zoology Museum Chronicles, Uk Description
Chronicles give a year by year account of how the Museum evolved. This includes, specimens collected, staff, volunteers and teaching relevant for the period.
The information can used for research, by using a name or year of someone you are trying to trace, but are unsure of precise details.
For those of you who are just interested like me this is a time shot
from Victoriana to 1980s
Sources of Information for compiling the Chronicles of the Museum:
The University Reporter, Year by Year. [1866βto 1983] .
βJβ A memoir of John Willis Clark by A E Shipley, 1913 Smith Elder & Co London
The sources quoted are out in the public domain and out of
copyright
All compiled by Ann Charlton who wanted a storyy timeline to accompany the fabulous specimens held in UMZC
