About Cambrose Touring Park
Touring caravan and camping park for families in West Cornwall
Cambrose Touring Park Description
Cambrose Touring Park is a small family camping and touring park, pleasantly situated in the unspoilt Portreath Valley, approximately 1. 5 miles from the beautiful sandy beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan.
The park is located on six acres of well sheltered land, is an excellent sun trap, and also offers purpose built facilities for any disabled visitors.
We are open from Easter until October 31st, there is no charge for children under the age of 2 years.
Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept under control. Most roads are tarmac finished and ample parking is available alongside units.
It is essential to book in the high season.

Campers Alert!!! The new boy Cooper takes no prisoners when it comes to food collection and consumption... and we're not just talking roast chicken and tasty bacon scraps! He'll eat the last of your carrot peelings and unwanted pasty crusts if he gets the chance YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! :)
The new boss resting with his assistant before the start of the season...!
The grandchildren 'helping out' on-site..!
We're now taking bookings for the 2015 season... and NO price rises from last year!
Also reknowned for the best roast dinners in West Cornwall :) xx
Sad to say that Pip died in October...he will be very much missed.
A short distance to beautiful local beaches
Well controlled dogs are allowed on-site for a small charge. Please clean up after your dog!
There is an outdoor heated pool with toddler pool on-site
Plenty of room to play with good sized pitches
Playing at Portreath Beach
We are now taking bookings for the 2012 season
Cambrose Touring Park has now joined the Facebook community!
We stayed here in May half term 2015 and had an amazing time. Showers and toilets were always clean and never ran out of hot water. The showers were adjustable so you could turn the heat up. Site was well kept and kids loved it. Highly recommend it.
We love it here and so does our caravan so much so he never leaves his friends at cambrose, even cooper loves our van lol. Thanks Jean and Graham
This is our 30th year at Jean x Grahams campsite, Cambrose. We don't just go once a year we are down every opportunity. Lovely friendly people, within 10 mins to North coast x 30 mins to South coast - you can even check weather out on both coasts standing on shop/reception steps lol. It's a family campsite with a play area for children, a pool x good clean free showers x toilets. It's a family campsite that makes sure you feel as though you are family so much that you ll always want to go back!
This is our 14th year here that says it all. This is our annual visit for our holiday.both our children have learnt to swim in the on site pool.we are here and reminiscing on where we were on the site with our trailer tent 10 years ago when the Boscastle disaster happened.the park hasnt changed much but still as tidy as usual and well run by graham and jean. This is one of those little gems where memories are made. The site gets busy so booking early is always best. So if you want a touring base or somewhere to chill and unwind you wont go to far wrong with cambrose.
The best of the best. I've been coming 20 years now and simply have no desire to camp anywhere else. Graham & Jean are the perfect hosts, the site clean and the pool warm. If Carlsberg did camp sites....
Such an amazing friendly touring park. Our 2nd year here and now gutted to be home! Loved it that much last year we booked there and then for this year and spent our honeymoon here.
Such a friendly couple run the site.
Lovely facilities- outdoor pool, little play park, field for ball games and games room.
Would recommend to couples and families alike.
Second year of coming here, fab facilities and very friendly owners. Got teenage boys and they love it too. Will be back again next year
Just returned from a 4 night stay and could not have asked for a better location, service or facilities!
Both owners are more than happy to help.
The pool is well looked after and a great size.
The shop is very clean and well priced.
The showers/toilets are a good size, well and regulary cleaned.
The site itself is very safe and clean for both dogs and children.
Quiet location and located right in the centre of various must see locations.
Will defiantly be returning!x
Just returned from 4 nights at Cambrose. Will definitely try to stay there again in future. Well placed for lots of Cornwall attractions and a super beach just down the road at Portreath. Very clean site and not too crowded or rowdy.
It's a beautiful, very clean, very friendly site. Graham is a top man who takes much pride in his lovely campsite.

Cambrose is a lovely campsite with a very friendly family atmosphere!
It is well equipped and the pitches are maintained beautifully.
The children love to take advantage of the play area and the “pool/entertainment room” in the evening.
