And when we think of domestic violence, the female victim immediately comes to mind. It’s hard to wrap our heads around men suffering the same traumas, yet research shows that men suffer domestic violence, too. We are now in the bid of expanding our FREE support services to Wales. Domestic violence is the ugly reality in our midst. It can happen to anyone. Don’t suffer in silence..

It’s so sad that even though we all know and can see the obvious truth about how unfair men are treated here in the UK by our legal system, yet we find it so difficult to vote for a project that is potentially able to provide an Emergency Shelter for the Abused male victims.

When people think of domestic abuse, they tend to think of men being the perpetrators and women being the victims. While this is often the case, male victims’ risk being overlooked and are faced with social stigmas when talking about their abusive experiences. The reinforcement of such gender stereotypes could be stopping men who are being abused from speaking out about their problems.

Our Emergency Shelter project has 212 votes as of today,Thanks to you all. Also, in the UK there are about 400 or more government funded refuges for female victims and their children, but none yet for male victims. This is our chance to get one.
