We came into Camden to have a few drinks to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and I had previously dropped in some cake for the occasion. After a couple of drinks I asked for the cake to be brought out, but realised I had forgotten to bring any candles - the lady running the bar that night (3rd Oct - I feel awful for not getting her name) ran to a shop to get candles, and brought out the cakes with candles, to my boyfriends complete surprise. We had a wonderful night and I'm sorry we were the last to leave! Thanks for making my boyfriends birthday special Ōś║’ĖÅ xx

Took my daughter in for a few cocktails and 'steak night' on Monday evening and was truly overwhelmed with the value for money and the quality of food!! Not to mentioned the cocktails were sublime! Highly recommend Justin and the team!!

This place is a hidden gem the food is fantastic and the service is brilliant massive compliments to the chef rich he does such a good job at making up new ideas and presenting the food in a great way ! Will certainly be back canŌĆÖt rate this place enough ’┐Į

Staff are always friendly, cocktails wicked and the Sunday People event on 24th was good fun; free gin tasting, good music and a pop-up barbers, what's not to like?!

Ooh the cocktails!!!!! 2 lovely staff on Saturday night a girl and a guy both helped us choose cocktails, explained what was in which and made suggestions. Very helpful and friendly. We didn't stay that long as had restaurant reservation but can't wait to go back. Lovely place.

Lauren was absolutely amazing with me and my girlfriend, great service and very helpful when arranging my other halfŌĆÖs 30th birthday. Camden is very lucky to have staff as lovely as her! Xx

Just superb. Simple as that. Serves decent beer, good wine and the service is fantastic.

Have been a regular for ages...bar staff know my drink ..what more can u ask of this great little bar. A must visit for anyone coming to Westbourne !

The staff was fantastic and same for the food.

Great atmosphere. Top food tried the new burger menu went for the daredevil great flavours with a great kick of heat. All round very good visit ’┐Į

First visit for steak night the welcome was great it was also happy hour perfect start the steaks were excellent thanks to Rich the chef great job highly recommend great value for money we will definitely be back

Fantastic service, lovely food extremely attentive waiter!! Well worth a visit!!!

A very friendly place excellent food the staff are amazing and Phill the owner is great, the drinks well totally awesome and even a happy hour, which last several hours, It is not a franchise it is a bar with a personal and individual character best bar in this part of Bournemouth suitable for remote working and meetings, family's, parties any good get together, it also has events and live music at regular basis also pet-friendly, a great place.

Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and breakfast was good too.

I like Camden bar and have been going there for over 3 years but some of the staff need to be a bit careful they don't put people off with their attitude. Try to remember that customers are why you are there, they are not some inconvenience getting in the way of you having a good time. One guy has a way of talking down to you as if its a real inconvenience for him to be there and he's only working the bar until he gets his big break as a super model or film star. Don't hold your breath mate.

We were told they didn't have any of the mixed meat platters left then when we questioned it it turned out they had all the items on the menu just no plates or something. Sounded like a lazy chef trying to get out of making it. Anyway when the food did arrive we were only given 1 of the 2 mixed meat platters we ordered. Now in regards to the food... wow. Awful doesn't cover it. What a sorry excuse for a quality meal. Dry overcooked meat and the chef couldn't even cook a chip! Wont be going there again, thank god we went there and used tablepouncer as i would have been gutted if i paid full price for that.

We ate here last night. Well, what a regret. We ordered 2 of the platters to be told they had run out of them, fair enough, we then ask if they have any of the contents of the platter and we could just have more of what they did have. We were then told they didn't have plates for the platters. I'm sorry? Plates? Not only lied to but then a ridiculous excuse like that? After we continued to question this, it was then agreed we could have the platters, great. Our food then arrives.... only one platter. They didn't have enough food for 2. So now we had to share because they didn't let us know before hand. Disgusting customer service. Waiter seemed fed up of us asking questions to what was ridiculous excuses. Worst meal I have ever had in a long time. We will not be returning!

The manager (so he called himself) was so rude. We were the biggest group in their sat around a table drinking cocktails quietly, we would have been putting a lot of money in their tills but unfortunately he gave me nothing but attitude. He couldn't do a Martini espresso (the coffee machine was shut down because they'd cleaned it up for the night) and they had no mint so couldn't do a mojito so when I cracked a joke saying well what can I have? He bit my head off and refused to serve me and told everyone else not to serve me?!!! I had only had 2 drinks at this point!!! Was so shocked and told him he was a misery and had been all night which he didn't like one bit. We all drank up and left straight away.... never been treated like that. I'd re think who you put behind that bar in the evenings... he's detrimental to your business!!!

Not impressed. Decided to write this after I'd eaten (somewhere else) to see if I was just hangry. But I've eaten now and me and my wife are still annoyed. We came in for lunch this afternoon, ordered a steak sandwich and a vegi breakfast. 30 minutes later we've finished our drinks, had to ask if we would be waiting much longer for food, get vague answer from a member of staff. 45 minutes after ordering my steak sandwich comes out. "Few" I think... as I watch it go past and land on another table, who had ordered a good 10 minutes after we did. Great. We decide to leave and the staff member says "sorry, don't worry about your drinks" Wow, a coffee and a tea... guess our wasted afternoon only cost you 50p.
