REVIEW! ★ "PIL literally gob smacked us all and John Lydon Official still has a serious set of lungs on him. A showman, a genius and a true artist... This was a perfect end of the festival for me and to have the opportunity to experince PIL live is something I will never forget. Camden Rocks Festival on the whole was a brilliant day and I’m definitely back next year that's for sure. Well done to all of the organisers and the artists and the venues that facilitated this top London event."

Very well run event amazing organisation and great selection of artists every year...

User

Tremendous day out - having been last year too it was good to make an earlier start to collect wristbands - then get the itinerary and carefully plan over a pint at the excellent World's End. There were obviously clashes of bands on the wanted list but thats life at any festival with more than one stage, let alone 20!! Everything ran like clockwork timing wise. Bars, pubs and clubs well staffed behind the bar - stewarding evident but not OTT. Got to see 12 bands over the day some better than others and some old favourites. would recommend to anyone with the slightest interest in rock music.

User

The best £40 you will spend all summer, my 5th year in a row will be 2018 first gig on my calendar every year , over 200 bands over 20 odd venues met some great people and some great bands and made a lot of new friends can not recommend this day any more than this , I personally can’t wait for June 2nd

User

Staff at the event and the venues were friendly and helpful. I drank too much beer and had an awesome time watching some great music. Saw some old favourites and also discovered some new music. The crowd and atmosphere were brilliant and its well worth the money!

User

So much fun! Such a happy atmosphere, so well organised, great choices of acts. Excellent memories forever!!

User

Segways to get around my feet are killing me

Seriously the place was buzzing i loved it got to see the bands i wanted to and more cant wait for 2019

User

Love it as ever but definitely too fucking old. Peace and Love.

User

Had a brilliant time.

Loved seeing a couple of bands that we knew and some that we didn't.

Who knew how good Rev and the Makers are (not me obviously)

Slydigs who have supported the Who across America and Canada should have had a bigger stage not a corner of a bar (not sure they'll be back sadly)

Otherwise bloody excellent.

User

Great festival, it’s been so much fun, love it!!

User

Great day great music great people Will definetly go back again

User

Great day awesome music

For me

Twin Atlantic stole the show

😊🍻🍻👍🎶🎶🎶

User

Fantastic day, everyone friendly and helpful. Spoilt for choice with bands (i like all 3 of the headliners) but plumped for the Virgin Marys who were excellent. I was there with my niece, so a great mix for all ages. Security was just right too, felt safe. Looking forward to next year already 😊

User

Changed our travel itinerary coming from Australia to come back to Camden Rocks after making our debut last year. Came to see PIL after starting at the Dublin Castle. Great day !!

User

Awesome. Simply awesome. 2nd visit, and will definitely be back for a 3rd.

My friends and I had a blast amongst mainly like-minded people who were out to have a good time and enjoy the vast variety of music on offer.

A festival in civilisation, I’d recommend it to all who want to experience music by chance, and still have home comforts.

Right, booking hotel for next year... 😁

User

Awesome day. Love the Camden culture. Highlight for me was The Sex Pissed Dolls and The Damned. Great to catch up with friends from up and down the country that I only get to see at various gigs. Next stop, Hyde Park for Green Day!

User

Always a wicked festival. Can’t wait for this June.

User

2nd year of going and both years got to see all the bands i wanted to see, brilliant day out with a amazing atmosphere, highlights of this year were pop will eat itself and pil, plus got to meet some really nice people, cant wait to do it all again year

User

Next yr save money and people from queuing by sending wristbands in the post rather than the tickets. Great festival besides that.

User

It was a great event. Lots of great and small bands. Great atmosphere. Great location. So, why not a five stars? Two things:

Please stop allowing people to come with big cameras (besides the accredited pros who are usually very polite) and who seem to believe they have some acquired rights to box their way to the front, hit you and shout foul language at you if you don't immediately oblige (it happened to me at 5 out of 8 concerts) ... Noone needs this and a lot of persons in the public around me felt the same. Again, the pros were all very courteous, asked if they could pass by, thanked afterwards, etc. like it should be.

There was no way to get into the Dublin Castle acts without cuing for more than one hour for the first gigs. There was some serious miscalculation on the organizing side. unwanted I am sure, but still annoying.
