This review is based on the food and drink - not all the other stuff such as the artist in residence and the art sales techniques and Scientology owners...

We were staying locally and popped in to have dinner as a treat and we were very pleased. The beer on tap was Leffe (one of my favourites) and the food was extremely good for the price. You'll pay around £15-£22 for a main course and the dishes were locally flavoured and sourced for the most part. Portions were 'Cornish' (meaning hearty!) and the staff, whilst new in training and English as a second language, were very friendly and chatty and trying hard. The decor is fascinating and the hotel itself has an absolutely spectacular location on the headland. If you go for the food and drink and don't allow yourself to be distracted with all the other stuff you are in for a pleasant evening.

The castle has its own charm and style but it is only a 3 star hotel so didn't expect much more. Staff are friendly. The views from the room and generally are stunning. Peaceful and quite at times

The hotel is ok to stay in just for 2 nights. Arrived on a sunny day but it can change to looking out of the window to a very! foggy/misty day the next. Would consider staying again in a single room which possibly has more room than a double. Breakfast was also nice there and the bar and lounge areas were nice & comfortable.

I stayed at Camelot castle hotel with my dad the beginning of October 2017 we enjoyed our stay we came on an escorted coach trip each morning we chose what food we wanted on the evenings the food for breakfast and evening meal was really good no faulting at all the bedrooms were clean the castle is very old and a lot of the furniture is old too we've really enjoyed it and would come again if anyone is thinking of coming to the hotel come with an open mind as a lot of the bedrooms have old furniture but it's a very lovely place.

A very impressive building and an extremely beautiful location overlooking the Atlantic ocean. The staff are very polite and the warmth of welcome was second to none. The walls are hung with artwork by one of the owners, a talented artist indeed. It is a romantic setting for an evening with friends and loved ones especially if you are lucky enough to watch the sun setting over the ocean. Very highly recommended and a must if you are visiting Cornwall

Very nice seaview place, probably the most character filled hotel that I've ever visited in the UK! Nothing but praise for the enthusiastic staff.

Great view, interesting building even though not a true "castle" imo. Artist gallery throughout and tea room, though just a little hushed for my taste.

A great view around, beautiful place, an amazing nature. Nice 3 stars hotel with all what you need for your holiday. We were pretty happy. whatever, what you want from cheap price? I would recommend...

Very over priced. Short staffed. In need of major refurbishment (signs say in progress but they have been there about 10 years and only the bar and honeymoon sweet have been done - when what really needs doing is all theother rooms.) Im really upset that we went for this visit. Room was absolutely disgusting. Bed on wheels kept moving, when it did there was a load of mess in need of being hoovered. Bathrooms are plastic rooms just like those in a caravan. DONT WASTE YOUR . THERE ARE B&B's better down the street.
