I have never had worse customer service before. So abrupt and rude, interrupting you when talking, saying what he has to say and just say bye then hang up while I'm still processing his abruptness and rudeness. This is so disgraceful to a country. And the people of a whole nation should not be represented by people with such behaviour. it is so misrepresenting and degrading.
Please ameliorate the quality of the service delivery.
Shocking!

The worst embassy or high commission I have ever been to. Staff so rude and unprofessional. Excellent display of antisocial behaviours.

Can you answer your Bloody Phone!!! You have my passport, I paid an extra for a 24h turnaround time service 6 days ago and you now can not be reached!

User

Never answer calls. Why have a contact number when you cant answer calls? Terrible customer service that only seen in Cameroon. Its a shame

Anyone going to this embassy to renew their passport make sure you bring photocopies of:

Your passport
ID
Birth certificate
Biometric card if you have one
Passport pictures cut to size
The embassy does not have a photocopier

However if you don't, there is a shop by the traffic lights that has a photocopier £1 per page. They also take cowboy style passport photos.

Even though it says "do not eat or drink" inside the embassy, bring food and drink. YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN THERE FOR A LONG TIME.

Inside the embassy:

Poor use of space. Cramped and too warm in recption area. Staff work slow and chat too much, not proffesional at all. No facilities to change baby nappies. No disabled access or toilet. Staff literacy attention to detail is atrocious. No security at all. Only one CCTV camera at the entrance!!!!!!!!

There is no ticket system so I wonder how they keep track of who came first when the reception area gets over crowded. Website information needs to reflect what happens in the embassy.

This embassy needs to step into the future, I swear when we walked in a pterodactyl swooped down on us! A REAL SHAME. SORT IT OUT CAMEROON!!!!!

FOR PASSPORT RENEWALS GO IN THE MORNING.
FOR VISAS GO IN THE AFTERNOON.

Why are people so surprsied by the deplorable attitudes of the staff when all they have done is imported the rude, corrupt, unprofessional and poor work ethic of francophone Cameroon. You've got francophone staff who can barely speak English, working in an English country and is this exactly the kind of rubbish Anglophones have to put up with in Cameroon even in their own regions and then abroad. Why don't they go to France- their so called second home?

With a leader like that demonic tyrant and dictator Paul Biya, who paved the way for the culture of unethical practices in the work place- where employees do not feel obliged to do the jobs they are paid to do but feel entitled to bribes from the public to be efficient. This is what that dictator does too- not content with a presidential salary plus all the perks, oh no emptying the country's coffers is meant to be the norm. That is exactly the same attitude of the staff at the embassy, they have such an obnoxious attitude to visitors, you get the feeling they want by you to beg them to do their jobs properly.
Though the high commisioner is anglophone and is friendly and helpful, I wouldn't be surprised if he is only a figure head with no real powers!

You don't deserve a star. It's nil!!!! With an ugly looking website. Even a high school student nowadays can do better.
Twice in my life i have missed on fantastic opportunities because of the absolutely rubbish passport renewal process. Why on earth does it take two months and more for one to renew his/her passport? If the process is so long, why don't they offer and guarantee an express service even if it's more expensive? This is absolutely nonsense! And the staff there remind you so much of the lack of customer service skills one notices in Cameroon - only, they have no excuse because they are outside of the Country and have therefore been exposed to better behaviours! I've always told people I wouldn't want to change my nationality for anything but this might just be too much for me to take.

Very poor management, the don't even deserve one star. Rude lady at reception she hang up on me before I could even finish my sentence. Renew my passport on July 26/2016 I was told it will take two months is now more than two months, I have called the embassy countless of times just for someone to even pick up the phone it takes about one week for your call to be answered and when it is answered the receptionist don't even know how to help you. Rude. I have emailed and still no reply. I need my passport asap. Very sad to be experiencing such poor treatment.

Mr High Commissioner, like another reviewer mentioned, zero isn't enough representation to equate to how your office fares on the review scale.

Your office sure has made it to the bottom of the list for the worst office to have ever graced the face of the earth in terms of services offered, staff attitudes, telephone manner, outrageous processes to be followed, vagueness and awfulness of your website, visa application process, openingredients hours to name a few.

It's even worst here than in some of the Ministries in Cameroon which is really sad. I have tried desperately to look for one positive aspect to ratell positively but there is nothing - nothing. All your office focuses on doing is increase fees and charges for everything yet continuously dips in terms of services provided. Whatever happened to the term 'value for money'.

Disgusting experience as always hence it is never a surprise anymore when dealing with your team. What a sad representation of a supposedly beautiful country by the people you employed to serve the public.

Mr Ambassador, please kindly take this seriously as you are letting us down by not acting on this which I am assuming you should be aware of by now due to the widespread reputation of your office in London.

If I were to rate the attitude of your staff members, I couldn't because no negative rating has yet been created to depict the rudeness and ignorance attributed to the staff representing you.

I hear you are a man of integrity so please do not let these individuals on the front office drag you and your reputation down the drain. Such a shame and pure utter disgust at its highest level!!!!! Please please act on this and prove yourself to be the moral and upstanding person that you are meant to be.
