About Campaign For Human Rights For Afghanistan

The Campaign for Human Rights for Afghanistan (CHRA) is a political advocacy organisation that wishes to help secure a free and fair future for all of the people of Afghanistan. Our CEO, Dr. Nooralhaq Nasimi, came to the UK with his family seeking refuge from Afghanistan in 1999. He has since dedicated his life to bettering the lives of Afghan's at home and overseas in the UK. Dr. Nasimi also operates his separate community organisation 'Afghanistan and Central Asian Association' which provides women's empowerment workshops, ESOL classes and impartial legal advice for the Afghan diaspora communities in Hounslow, Croydon, Ealing and Lewisham. The right to free speech, safety, food, water, health care, education, representation, democracy and prosperity are not luxuries but fundamental to all human beings. Our goal is to further awareness of the situation and influence change for better for Afghanistan. We produce research and articles on Afghanistan, discussing socio-political matters and the global position of the nation. Since 1979 Afghanistan, a land of rolling mountains and nomadic cultures, has not known peace. It's people have suffered at the hands of international militaries, warlords, extremists and sectarian violence. No longer can people continue in this cycle. It is time to stand up for what is right and just. By advocating on the behalf of those who have been silenced, providing insight and exploring opportunities in Afghanistan. We can help provide people with their rights and pressuring the international community to not turn its back on Afghanistan.
