Here's a Citroen Berlingo we've just done a furniture kit for. Definitely the smallest camper we've done but it actually worked out surprisingly well and you'd have no trouble parking it! You can just about get 2 people on the bed as long as you really like each other 😃

Just fitted our standard side conversion with overhead cupboards to this Nardo Grey T5 (really love that colour!). The units are in our new light striped wood effect and really suited the van. This is definitely one cool camper now!

Here's a 2 berth LWB Hi-Roof Renault Trafic we've just finished (same van as Vauxhall Vivaro). It has a rear L-shape lounge with decent size toilet cubicle behind the driver seat. We think it's a really great layout for a couple planning on doing a bit of touring, it's big enough inside to be comfortable but not too big to park at the supermarket! If you're pulled up somewhere nice you can open the doors, chill on the sofa and enjoy the views all around.

Here's a different take on a 4 berth race van layout, we've changed the more common L-shape front settee to a wrap around lounge, hopefully creating a more social space for playing cards, board games, etc. This particular design is based on an L4 Relay/Boxer but would work on other large vans such as Sprinters, Crafters, etc. You could also just about squeeze it in to an L3 Relay/Boxer with a bit of tweaking.

People have been asking if we can do curved doors. Well not quite but here's a T5 kit we did for a trade customer a while ago with a curved tambour door on the end. We routed a groove in the floor and underside of the worktop to create the runner for the door, it was tricky but ended up looking really cool.

Here's a T5 we've just finished. It has a few extras over the standard kit including panel for sockets and tambour door. It also has the shaped kitchen end panel which allows the fridge to be positioned further forward so it can still be opened with the bed pulled out

So here's a new 4/5 berth race van layout we're going to be adding to our website, we're quite excited about this one as it's hopefully going to be the perfect layout for ourselves! (and the culmination of 12 years building and using campers). Basically, the problem for us when using a race van is that we like to use it for family camping trips as well, and as great as race vans are for doing trackdays etc, they don't tend to leave much living space so when away with the kids... it can be a bit cramped. By raising the rear seating area in this layout (and as a result losing the overhead storage above the rear seats) we've measured there will be enough room to store one or two motorbikes in the rear garage and partly under the rear seats (the bikes would have to go in backwards). This particular image is based on an L4 Relay/Boxer. The toilet cubicle is quite small in this example but could be made bigger (along with the kitchen) at the expense of losing some of the rear dinette, you could tweak it to whatever suits you really.

Here's a few pics of a customer van (Citroen Relay) we've just fitted furniture to. It's quite a different layout to what we normally do but it worked out really well, a very spacious 2 berth with large kitchen area. Chris and Mandy were very happy with it! We've actually got a full photo album of the build process so we'll be posting more step by step pics in the next few days for anyone who's interested.

We've just added a new layout to the Race Van Layout page of our website. It has a different front seating arrangement to most of our others to make it quicker and easier to make the front bed (both seats slide out to form a bed across the van) whilst still allowing a walkthrough cab. The drawing is based on the LWB Sprinter but could be adapted for other large vans

We've recently added this new layout to our Race Van Layout page. The "Super Compact" as we're calling it is designed to be a race van / sports home that can carry a motorbike, etc but can also, being based on a MWB van, be used as daily transport. As keen mountain bikers and also doing the occasional motorbike trackday, this is a layout that we're going to be building and trying out for ourselves in or next personal camper conversion so we will be able to offer feedback and advice to anyone considering this layout.
