Canadian High Commission

Service was friendly and overall fantastic. Probably quicker and less painful to travel from Canada to the UK to get your passport renewed at the Canadian High Commission in London, rather than waiting in Hamilton.

Canada house (Canada's oldest foreign posting since 1880) is all decorated with 'Canada 150' - the irony being that 150 years seems like a paltry timeframe against all the history around London. Still proud to be a canuck and to see our colours fly high adjacent to Trafalgar Square.

A truly gorgeous building that celebrates all things Canadian. Each room is has an individual provincial theme. It is well worth a tour if you can manage it.

Helpful and friendly

Had a really simple question to ask the Canadian High Commission about transiting through Canadian airports - could not find any way to speak to a real person. I thought the Canadians were renowned for being polite and helpful - not my experience here. Shame.

Review for the call centre - three agents, all different, all talked to me as if I was a piece of gum stuck to their shoe.

I have been dealing with our embassy on a numerous occasions and I must say the service was absolutely fantastic!

Got citizenship certificates and passports for our 2 daughters born in London in less than 2 month. Very helpful and knowledgable via email. All questions answered very quickly and to details!

It is pretty shocking to see some feedback here. To all: if you don't read what is posted on the website, don't fully understand the require to on the forms and miss a couple of important details, no one will help you.
