Canal Cafe Theatre Description

This little theatre has been perched on the edge of the canal in Little Venice since 1979. It is now a thriving comedy and new writing venue. We are set above the very lovely Bridge House Pub, ideal for pre and post show drinks, dinner and get-togethers. Little Venice is one of the capital's most beautiful areas, with gentle canals and quiet streets and only a stone’s throw from Paddington's bars and pubs. And home to NEWSREVUE!
The world's longest running live comedy show continues at the Canal Cafe Theatre every Thursday - Saturday at 9. 30pm and Sundays at 9pm. A fast-moving mix of sketches and songs, NewsRevue propels you through the world's news and current events at breakneck pace - all-kicking, idol-burning comedy, updated every week by a crack team of writers.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening in the garden of the pub first and then News Review in a cosy, friendly atmosphere. News Review was brilliant and so entertaining - we never stopped laughing. Well done to the 4 entertainers who were so talented.

Lovely little theatre. I must say, I most prefer the intermit experience and the pub downstairs is just lush ❤️

It (News Revue) is without doubt the best night out in London, the sharpest political satire in the world. As devastating as it is hilarious; I laughed so hard that wine came out of my nose.

User

I love the intimacy of this venue, totally suited to the superbly acted and directed Driving Miss Daisy, which I saw last night.

I go all the time, it is totally fabulous. The small venue the intimacy the clientele and obviously the news review is always hilarious!!
