Reviews
St Marks Basin looking very icy at the moment, well book another day in when it gets slightly warmer to rake the last corner out. Looking alot better though.
Another day at the Tees Barrage with volunteers. We have re-leveled the supports, changed the gradiant towards the kerb and started backfilling, well be doing this for the rest of the day. we will update with our progress tomorrow but for now were all back to work.
Exhausting work
Team of volunteers and operatives ready for day two, the ground is still frozen hopefully be softer after we level the supports off
Thats better, back working on the dipping pond path today
Cold one this morning. โ
Brilliant day working with Volunteers and Operatives getting the supports for decking in place by the dipping pond. I can imagine everyone will sleep brilliantly tonight well deserved good job. Back at it tomorow if anymore of our volunteers are around to help we would greatly appreciate your time. lots of backfilling to do now but what a great day weve had.
Barrage operatives and volunteers all working in sync today. Brilliant ๐
Waiting for the ground to warm up this morning, we checked over the fish pass cleaned the lights and cameras, checked all nets where secure while checking for trapped debris all while running it through a fill/empty cycle then we moved onto the Canoe Slalom outfalls. We do these checks all year round to keep everything working in order fixing, filling and greasing as we go along.
We've been busy all morning doing the dipping pond decking, going well so far
Installing extra barriers to our slipway
If you remember a while back as part of Canal & River Trusts Hinterlands art programme members of the public where invited to learn the basics of drone photography on the River Tees. Heres what they captured.
Fantastic
Bending ladder hoops with volunteer David this morning, cool piece of kit
What a place to visit, never mind work ๐
