We had lunch at Canaletto today - it was a bit of a late decision. What an excellent choice it turned out to be. The restaurant is lovely and the staff were excellent. Most importantly, the food was superb. This place is a bit of a jewel - we look forward to returning!!

Visited today with a close friend for a much overdue catch up. What an absolutely fantastic meal with had. Everything was hand made and what felt like real Italian food rather than the pizza and carbonara pushed out at most places. The service was second to none and we had a good few hours catch up in a lovely courtyard type garden overlooking the countryside. We will most definitely be back!

Our first visit but hopefully not our last as all the food was excellent - good provision made for children & also gluten-free requirements within our group. The service was very friendly, efficient and prompt, which we were delighted about we were ravenous after some of our group arrived very late.

Lovely meal in here on Saturday night. Friendly and welcoming service, despite us arriving before they actually opened, and superb food. Roaring fire in the bar and a great pint when we arrived was just what we needed. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

Hubby surprised me with a table for 2 on Valentines night! After 23 years, 4 kids, 4 grandkids and an empty piggy-bank, it is a rare treat for us to celebrate valentines in quite such a special way! Great friendly staff who were very attentive, setting/atmosphere was really lovely, and the food was absolutely amazing! All in all a wonderful evening! Thankyou Canaletto ��

Had a lovely birthday meal this week, was very impressed with everything, the staff, the service, the food, and was pleasantly surprised at the cost (reasonable). Was difficult to choose what to have as it all sounded so delicious. Ended up having 3 courses & we were both impressed. Now have to go back to try the other things on the menu �

Gilly and Wazza popped in to have Lunch today having been test driving Mazda cars up the road. Wow what a beautiful restaurant great atmosphere and delicious delicious menu at a great price. We both enjoyed our meal very much indeed. Hmmmm tiramasu to die for, we are looking forward to our return for an evening meal. A top restaurant 10 out of 10

Food is excellent, the best in the area and the staff look after you really well, nothing is too much trouble and you are never rushed. Pay them a visit, you won't regret it

Excellent genuine Italian food served by cordial, knowledgeable staff. We were staying in Waddesdon for two nights and ate dinner both nights there. The desserts were fabulous. Prices were very reasonable and the portions perfectly suited our appetites.

Absolutely super evening. As always, gorgeous tasty food at Canaletto’s. Great friendly service. The garden is beautiful and the best place to enjoy a summer evening drink and meal. Highly recommend ���

Absolutely perfect night! All the food tasted beautiful! Bens and mine! We received excellent service and polite staff who were extremely friendly and professional. Definitely had become our favourite restaurant! Plenty of car space and a beautiful restaurant to relax and have an amazing time with loved ones. Spent out 6 year anniversary here and will definitely have to find an excuse to have another night out soon! Thank you to all the staff for making our special day so amazing! ��

We did not prebook a table though were offered a table in the bar area, this allowed us view the hive of activity as people arrived and left. The staff were friendly and well organised and even though we were away from the main dinning area, we were looked after. The Fegato was devine with its Oinion gravey and mash potato. Perfect Saturday night dinning!

Decided to have a 50th birthday dinner at Canaletto after passing it many times in the past few years. We weren't disappointed. Varied menu and great service. Too full to even choose from the extensive dessert trolley, which looked amazing. Maybe next time!! Thank you.

Food was quite good but not as good as I was expecting as the place had been highly recommended. The service and attention was awful , the staff were sour faced and the charged us for food that we never ordered ! Needless to say , we did NOT pay the service charge .

Some people seem easily pleased I was not impressed the food was ok but extremely over priced considering it doesn't have a Michelin star i wouldn't mind paying that kind of money for Michelin star food but this is just a little country pub and restaurant i will not be back
