Canary Wharf
Reviews
This underground tube station is on Jubilee line. It serves to London new Financial District Cannery Wharf which hosts head quarters of many financial institutions. There is a shopping complex we which hosts many high street brands and a good variety of foot outlets.
Amazing place at night, especially around Christmas, good selection of shops during the day.
Nice station on the Jubilee Line - go outside and be treated to a nice skyline.
Lovely station in the middle of Canary Wharf. Be aware - always busy during rush hours!
Good open space to meet with friends, not overpopulated, what it lacks right now is some street entertainment like Covent Garden has.
I hate this station. Grey and miserable. I seem to recall they did not have seating, except for cold stone marble. The station is too big, it is not designed to human scale. Too much walking to get out of the station.
This station won award a few years ago. They did n't ask the people who use these stations.
Big station with lot of shops accessible through underground near by. Very much crowded between 5 to 6 pm on working days. DLR station is within 5 minutes walk from the underground station.
Ticket machines and ATM present inside station. You have foreign exchange outlet as well inside station.
A great big open hall leading to the Jubilee Line, with interesting architecture that makes you feel as if you're descending into the mouth of a giant whale. Shopping centres are accessible from the left or right sides.
Negatives are that the platforms are ridiculously crowded around 6pm, and this ticket office windows are sparsely manned (if they're still manned at all).
Oh, you can get a left into the station and onto the platform, if accessibility is an issue.
Very handy. Rarely any major disruption.
Beautiful station, a lot more spacious than other tube stations
Very modern station but crowded at peak time. Friendly and helpfull service.
An impressive tube station, it's very large, some have compared it to a cathedral. Always great to see the commuters queue at the platform edge doors during the evening peak.
