Welcome to Canid Communications!
Here I offer dog walking, dog training and behaviour modification.
The methods I use are positive and motivational so that I can help you build on your companionship with your dog.

At Canid Communications I offer group of individual dog walking, general obedience training like recall and loose lead walking and behaviour modification that covers more intense behaviours like resource guarding, obsessive behaviours, aggression and much more.

Here is a little bit of information about Amber (owner of Canid Communications)

I have always had a love for animals in general so I went to college at Shuttleworth and completed my level 2 and 3 in Animal care and management. Whilst doing this I got my first dog, a Black Labrador called Maddie then a year after my Rhodesian Ridgeback called Rio. I had fallen in love with dogs and this fired my passion to learn more about them.
I started training dogs around 2011, watching celebrity trainers on TV and doing lots of my own research. I am what other trainers call a crossover trainer, this means I used aversive techniques to train unintentionally not knowing that even though they work they are the best for the dogs mental health nor are they easy for owners to use. This drove me to find better less stressful techniques that dogs and their owners could enjoy, so I began to seek further education.
I now have a Diploma in the foundations of canine behaviour management, canine first aid certificate, initial instructors course with barking mad and now currently doing my foundation degree in canine behaviour management and I would never look back!

My mission is to now help and educate the public with dogs to share my knowledge and improve our relationships with have with our furry companions, they do so much for us and they deserve the understanding that helps them live in our domesticated society.
