Professional, well established and caring Norton Canes based grooming salon. We pride ourselves on giving your pet the best experience whilst in our care.

Canine Capers Description

At Canine Capers we understand how important your friend is to you. We are an established business with a very regular customer base, who return time and time again. We pride ourselves in giving the best service, along with the best products.

All dogs are double bathed and conditioned to ensure their coat is in tip top condition. We use a non chemical shampoo and conditioner, so no residue is left on the coat.

We do not use kennels / cages unless requested and all dogs are booked by appointtments. . . we do not have your friend in all day, therefore reducing the stress that could occur.

Sickness and Diarrhoea Advice
Good morning.
You may be aware but there is a very nasty sickness and diarrhoea bug circulating at the moment, which is affecting a lot of dogs.
... We wanted to assure you all that we are taking every precaution we can with specific disinfectants, however this is a viral infection and can be contacted from anywhere.
If your dog is booked in and has any symptoms, we would ask that you postpone your appointment until they are well in order to minimise the risk of infection.
If your dog does become poorly contact your vet for advise especially if they have lots of sickness. You need to ensure that they are hydrated so...
* Have water available, unless they are vomiting it back * Continue to feed a bland diet, little and often * Scrambled egg (made without milk) * White fish * Sweet potato, cooked and mashed * Chicken (although some dogs are intolerant to this) * Pumpkin * Use a probiotic such as Pro- kolin
But if you are worried please contact your vet.
