So Jo and I are enjoying a lovely break in Edinburgh and whilst shopping we came across a tartan shop with a dog section. Now, settle an argument please. Red dog coat/kilt, blue/green or NO! I won't spoil it by saying who loves them and who hates them 🤣😂🤣 Buddy is waiting for your vote...

Christmas time is difficult for dog owners. Dogs are attracted to the tree but here's a simple solution... Remember if they get too close they could contract tinselitis 🤣😂🤣

PRICES & CLASSES... Hi all...we have installed the 'Book Now' button which will link to our booking page. Once in, please go to 'CLASSES' to choose and book a class, date and time. Payment is via bank transfer at time of booking, details of which are above. So...prices and classes are:
Paddle Pups: A half hour puppy paddle class. Puppies must be fully vaccinated, maximum 5 pups per class...£12 per puppy.
Senior Moments: A half hour class for senior dogs who need gentle exercise that doesn't cause stress to their joints. Any dogs recouperating from injury or surgery must have had permission from the vet for the dog to swim. Max 5 seniors per class...£12 per dog.
Buddy's Dip & Dive: A half hour class for dogs who love to jump or just want to 'give it a go', max 5 dogs per class...£12 per dog.
Buddy's Pool Party: A half hour class for sociable, confident dogs who just want to have fun, max 5 dogs per class...£12 per dog.
Solo Swim: A half hour 1-1 session for nervous or unsociable dogs, or anyone wanting a private 1-1 session with their dog...£30* *If you own more than one dog and wish to bring them into the pool, or share a session with a friend, those dogs will be charged an additional £10 each.
All classes are half an hour, this includes time for arrival and departure of the pool. For a dog, a 1 minute swim is the equivalent to a 1 mile walk, so your dog will not be and should not be encouraged to swim for the entire session. Our classes are for fun and socialisation and we are more than happy for owners to come in and have a swim with their dogs (at their own risk) if they want to take the plunge!

Went today with my Barney boy and although a little sceptical at first with the aid of all the humans present after a couple swims round he loved it! These guys are such lovely people and made our experience that so much better, I can't grinning! 100% booking again

We took Rum (water mad Lab) and our deaf Staffie Tel who has never swam after scaring himself as a puppy by falling in a pond. Tel has avoided water for most of his life. Today he swam and swam and swam. Many many thanks for the confident fun management of Tel and helping him finally enjoy the water. Best thirty minutes spent in water ever!

We loved our trip to Canine Dip and Dive today.

We have taken Chip a few times now and his confidence has grown and grown. He barely got of the pool at yesterday's visit. Highly recommended.

Took my dogs Dallas and Alaska for the first time today and they loved it!!! Dallas especially with jumping in to catch all the balls!!!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Thoroughly recommend you take yourself and your dog for a swim! My daughter loved it and Amber ‘quite’ liked it for her first visit. Andy was really good with Amber and it was lovely seeing her swim for the first time. What a great setting, very friendly service and awesome business! Thank you. We will be back.

The staff were very friendly and brilliant at making our dog feel at ease.Which made our dog really enjoy jumping in and swimming in the pool.We would highly recommend taking any age dog for a swim.

So happy! My 3 year old never dared go into water above her armpits. I took her to Dip and Dive and with expert help Freya went from scared to swimmer in one session. By the time our session was over she was swimming lengths without any help, to fetch the toys. I’m so proud of her. And can recommend Dip and Dive 100% and give it 5 stars without hesitation. Yay!

Percy loved his first session of swimming.... having never swum before we didn’t know we what to expect.. as the session went on he gained more and more confidence until he realised he had overdone it and wanted us to hold him up!! We will be back... thank u

Our review:

Our 12 year old spaniel Oscar has always loved swimming. It’s been a long held dream of ours to be in the water with him as he swims.

He had a brilliant time swimming from the dock, around me at the far end of the pool and back loads of times.

It was tremendous fun, a bucket list item ticked and Jo & Andrew were fabulous hosts. A wonderful day we hope to repeat often.



Oscar’s review:

I invented “Water-Running” when I was a pup and am the acknowledged world champion of it.

Today my worst nightmare came true.

I have always worried that my big human might find himself in water.

He’s an idiot.

He has those stupid human limbs. There is no way he can

Water-Run.

Fortunately I have never seen him in deep water.



But today the idiot got in water.

I had to swim round him over a dozen times to save his life.



It was harrowing and spoiled what would have been otherwise a wonderful days Water-Running.

I hope to return & enjoy the facilities without that idiot putting himself in danger.

13/10. Would Water-Run again. Bork bork.

Our Marley goes quite regularly and started last year as a pup. He loves his time here and when he arrives we get drags across the field to the entrance. It is also excellent exercise for him as he has elbow dysplasia.Give your treat and take them for a visit.

Opie and I absolutely love this place!! His confidence in water has excelled after only two visits and it's such great exercise for him! And on a hot day I love to cool off in the pool too!! :) definitely be coming back and bringing along as many of my friends and their pooches too!! ♡

My dogs had a great time! Lovely people. Bailey absolutely loved it he really didn’t want to leave. Poppy wasn’t as keen but they were very patient with her and made her feel comfortable and she slowly came around and started to enjoy herself! Can’t wait to go back again soon!

Lovely people, everything there that we needed & most importantly our dog (& my hubby) loved every single second!

Had a great session today with my two dogs and a friend and her two dogs. Mine weren't so keen on swimming but Andy got them in and they did a little bit of paddling (and attempted escape!!). At least we proved french bulldogs can indeed swim! Thanks again, we may well be back once Coco has recovered from her surgery

Easy to book and pay so on day just turn up and have fun.

Been once and we are smitten � no better experience. We had to travel a little way so unfortunately we can’t just pop there in 10 mins but we will be regulars that’s for sure. Have shared our experience with everyone we can who needs to know about this gem. Brilliant place run by truly lovely people.
