MORNING! It’s Thursday which means that there are only two more sleeps until parkrun day!
We are fully marshalled-up for this Saturday, but we do still have spaces for...
1 x timekeeper... 1 x finish token handerouterer
The roles are straightforward and we’ll hold your hand if it’s your first time. Except for the token person - that would make the job pretty tough!

Evening you lovely lot....
On Saturday 20th July we will be hosting a special parkrun to raise funds to support the work of the wonderful Midlands Air Ambulance charity. They regularly attend accidents and incidents on Cannock Chase, providing a vitally quick response in areas that simply would not be accessible to normal ambulance crews. The service is funded entirely by donations and we are proud to be doing our bit to help. We will have more details as we approach 20th July, but we have included a link to a fundraising page below - please give it a click and take a look.

Thank you to everyone that joined us on a very wet Cannock Chase parkrun!! ☺️ There is a service outage with the parkrun results we have managed to upload most there results however there is a few of the unscannable parkrunners that aren’t loading! We will get them up as soon as we can! Happy Running 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Another wonderful morning at Cannock Chase parkrun! Well done to Callum Mcgarrie on reaching his 50th parkrun, all those who took part in Run and Revise to mark Mental Health Awareness Week and to the girls from Rugeley Runners who managed to skilfully avoid the four deer that crossed the course in front of them! 😬 Don't forget that we are cancelled next Saturday (25th May) to make way for a Canni-X event. We'll be back on 1st June as normal. 🙂 xx

During the week of 13-19 May 2019 England Athletics, supported by Mind the mental health charity, is encouraging all 16–25 year old students to #RunAndRevise to take a break from exam revision and improve their mental wellbeing through running.
Are you a student aged 16-18 at a school or college or aged 18–25 studying at a college or university?
Do you feel pressure during exam times?
... Are you looking for an easy way to take your mind off exam stress, be active and stay positive or simply enjoy running or walking with others?
Why not come along to Cannock Chase parkrun on Saturday 18th May.
Stafford Harriers will be supporting this event so why not come along for a run and a chat.
