I wish I could rate 0 stars. Paid £1.95 for a teeny tiny (I mean literally ten, maybe less) pasty, floury portion of chips that only just filled the gap between my 1/4lb beef burger and the edge of my tray.
Long story short, the chips were anaemic and horrible, and the burger was contaminated with e.coli, which I can say without shadow of a doubt. Waiting times were quick, but the food quite literally poisoned me and my 12 year old brother.

You can get kiddies portions if you're not to hungry its great.

young blonde lady is very polite, she is so bubbly and happy and I've never know someone so good and fast and hard worker.

I've been there before and the young boy was a little rude but this girl is amazing. well done to the young lady.

Today I popped in and bought 3 large cod and chips and a kids one.. to my surprise the cod was very thin scavvy and grey. £30 for this delight, i won't be ordering from here again.

Excellent fish and chips, cod was in a word massive and lovely and crispy. Staff friendly and accommodating. We will use them again.

Excellent service. Freshly cooked fish and chips, not sitting on the side. Extremely generous portion sizes. Bit overzealous with the vinegar making my batter slightly soggy when I'd reached home.

Went in here at about 4.00 pm a man was cooking and a girl was working the counter. We ordered two cod and chips and a burger in batter to take away. Waited about ten minutes for the food and then went to our accommodation, opened the meal and saw what we had purchased. Without doubt the worst take away meal we had ever seen, everything was just a mush inside the wrapper. It was obviously that the fat or oil was not hot enough to fry. My wife tried to put the food on a plate but everything just broke when she moved it, in one word it was a DISGRACE. Get off your high horse and get back to basics, you wont have a business for long if you don't.

Polite, prompt service, satisfactory chips (could be still crispier and more generous with the vinegar). However the jumbo fishcake was easily the best fishcake I have had from a chipper. Peppery, herby with good texture and an excellent crunchy outer. It looked homemade, if so, well done. It makes such a difference.

Best fish and chips I've had in the UK.. Almost as good as Stewart Island's (New Zealand).. 😁

The food was well presented. Hot and tastes lovely. Good proper mushy peas.

We have been using this chip and shop regularly for the last three years and its food and service doesn't usually disappoint. Today however, my husband stood for five minutes at the counter whilst two of the staff gossiped about another member of staff's poor customer service skills and he ended walking out without being served. Twice this happened recently. What a shame.
