The work I had done was: New felt and battens; re-tiled ridge; mortar between end tiles and correcting lead work. I'm happy with the quality of the workmanship and was impressed at how hard Allan worked in freezing weather conditions. In terms of hours his day is as long as 2 normal builders. He starts early, finishes late and takes few break.

Unfortunately the rest of my experience was terrible.

- On the day of quote I was told he would start the following Monday and didn't need the scaffold to begin work and it would take 4 days. Scaffold arrived on Monday but work didn't start for 7 days. From the agreed start date until complete took 26 days.
- window cills left splattered with mortar
- front garden covered in tiny scraps of old roofing felt
- Quote said 'fix' side gutter. After reminding three times I just did it myself as it would have been impossible without the scaffold.
- Asked me to pay before the scaffold was down and then didn't clean up
- 7 days between scaffold coming down and removal of some rubbish stacked in front garden.
- Loads of rubbish and unused materials were left. In the end I got sick of phoning and being promised a new date so cleared up and took stuff to the tip myself.

Work carried out but have waited six months for building debris to be removed

unfortunately i paid completely, i feel if i had kept some money back, debris would have been removed promptly

so disappointed, house front and back looks a complete mess, not professional aT all, every week new promise then something else happens - too wet, too cold, no vehicle, other job, disgusting and would not recommend at all

Not a good experience with this company. They replaced the guttering at the front of my house and the downpipe fell apart within 24 hours leaving rainwater running down the front of my house!!!

They promised that they would return on about 10 occasions over the following month and never turned up. Poor quality workmanship and very unprofessional behaviour.
