The best burgers in Plymouth with a view of the harbor! Try the Jasperizer if you're hungry and feeling up to it -- it's the most popular item on the menu for good reason!

Want a coffee and a quick bite to eat? Then try the world famous captain jaspers. If a hot drink and bacon roll is your cup of tea then look no further.

I have been coming here for years. Great food. Very good staff. Lovely position by the harbour.

Cap'n Jasper's. The world famous harbourside cafe that's buzzing all year round. Simple food fried to order quickly by happy, friendly staff. Very reasonable prices and short waiting times. Beats mcshytes hands down every time!

A Plymouth institution but effectively its a glorified burger van so don't expect five star food. Good value for the money and large portions but service was a little slow when I visited as they were training someone new on the grill although everyone else got there food quick enough. If I partied in Plymouth as a youngster then no doubt I'd come here for the post nightclub munch every time.

Amazing place to visit, best burgers we've ever had. Now a must do activity when we visit family. So many choices, something for everyone. Great price for tea and coffee. A really lovely location to sit, eat and watch the boats. It's also very popular with bikers and there are always interesting bikes parked nearby to look at.

This is a street cafe that seems to have become a really popular, iconic, stopping place on The Barbican in Plymouth. And it's right on the waterfront of the harbour. Obviously popular with tourists in and out of season but, more importantly, a definite focal point for locals - including armed services personnel, police, ambulance and other services. Oh, and must not forget the regular number of bikers that pull up for refreshment - no, not the hells angels, true bike enthusiasts; most with very nice bikes!

Good friendly staff who work quickly but the wait is because your food is always made to order. Wonderful system involved : one takes your money and writes down your order and then attaches it to a bulldog clip and slides it along a wire to where the person who cooks it is waiting/cooking. You walk away with a numbered ticket.

Based on fried food the menu is good and offers different size versions of things like its famous sausage, egg and fried onion roll (if you've not tried fried onions in your sausage and egg roll - this is the place to try it!). Soft drinks, coffee and tea available (and yes, the spoon is attached to the counter!).

Take away or sit on one of their benches with the uniquely designed chain legs.

Best greasy junk in town. This place is a landmark. Especially popular with bikers. Great location to explore.

Have been coming here since 1986, and although the 'building' has changed massively (and moved too), the menu has remained surprisingly and pleasantly very similar. Not quite as quirky as years ago but still an interesting 'kitchen' to be served from.
Always good food, competitive prices, friendly staff in a classic part of the city.
Highly recommended!
