Tall ship Kaskelot squeezing into The Marina at Sutton Harbour. She’s here throughout August and open to the public. #lovethebarbican

User

Arrrghh...The second pirate ship just arriving for the Barbican Pirate Weekend. The fun starts at 10 with pirate trails, punch and judy, re-enactments, cannon firing, pirate story telling and a whole lot more! #LoveTheBarbican

Now that the snow's all gone, here's a look back at some of our favourite pictures.

Brrrr.... it's cold! Kid's pirate hats, just £2. As modelled by one of our big kids!

Ever wondered what a snoring seal sounds like?

We love this place. Every time we come to Plymouth we have to go and have a burger or half a yard of hotdog.

The food is amazing!!!!

User

The food is brilliant, the people there are nice and it is a great spot on the barbican. Plus if you are into motorbikes it's a great biker spot. A must visit place. The half yard will keep you full for ages and the Mexican baguette is good too.

Myself and family love Plymouth, love it around the Barbican and love Cap n Jasper's. First night of every of every Plymouth visit we head to Jasper's. The vaporizer is my personal favourite washed down with plenty of hot tea.

Even better than in my Uni days. Great food, great service and good value. I was proud to bring my kids along to give them a taste and they loved it too.

Best Harbourside burgers and baps in the South West.

Absolutely LOVE this place. It's completely different from when I came here as a child nearly 40 years ago, but it's grown in a fantastic way. Lovely staff and great food. My little lad is 10, and has tackled the half yard hot dog 3 times now, and WON each time. They give the kids a badge if they do it! So food AND fun! What more can you ask? Oh yes, it's really cheap, too!!!

After a tour of the city on the Landtrain there was only one place that my daughter and I wanted to eat lunch with her young sons and that was Cap'n Jaspers. We live locally and have eaten there many times for over 30 years and love the busy atmosphere of Sutton harbour, usually several bikers and their amazing bikes adding to the experience. Yesterday was extra special as Sea Dragon was preparing to sail with an all-female crew around Britain on a scientific survey of plastic pollution in the coastal waters.

I can't comment on the burgers on offer, they were delicious when I used to eat them several years ago. My daughter and grandsons had sausages in bread rolls and enjoyed them. I had the smoked mackerel in a roll which was delicious and more than I could eat, I brought the rest home and had it for breakfast. Thank you Cap'n Jaspers you are so much more than just a place to eat. We had a lovely time, even with dodging the rain and trying to stop my 3 year old grandson from ending up in the harbour! 😂
