Best chippy in stoke on Trent by far reasonably priced good portions and awesome food nothing like it anywhere else

We visit regularly. It's a friendly atmosphere with lovely staff that serves beautiful food. The breakfasts are amazing and the best in the area. The restaurant is clean and we'll kept.

I've used Captain Kooks as a take a way in the past and have been well pleased both with the quality and quantity of the food.Visited this time with friends to eat in.The dining area was very clean and tables were cleaned as soon as customers left, which was good to see.The table service was first class and the food........ Oh my goodness, you had better have a good appetite, very generous portions and very tasty. The best fish and chips I've tasted in a long while. Top drawer!!! As an add-on, I now visit Captain Kooks every Friday Evening for a takeaway fish & chip supper. One portion is large enough for me and my wife to share and it tastes delicious.This chip shop must rate among the best in the Potteries.

I've been here quiet a few times and enjoyed my meals everytime with a member of my family they are friendly and polite people keep up.the good work guys

Nice staff plenty of tables and good food reasonably priced. Bacon and sausage buttys are brilliant ample parking and always busy because its that good.

Andrew and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We go to captain kooks after our annual MG owners club chippy run. Food is freshly cooked and is excellent value for money. I would and have recommended captain kooks. They are open for breakfast,lunch and tea.

Great food. Nice staff. And it won't break the bank. "Mini" fish and chips...£2.80. And there was nothing mini about it.
