Car Key And Repair Description
Car Key and Repair are specialists in vehicle key programming and key cutting. We use the latest technology available to programme your key and have your vehicle up and running.
To programme your vehicles key we have to programme the tiny chip within your key case to allow the vehicle to start. These tiny chips are called Transponders.
Electronic, coded transponder chips embedded in the plastic body of the key were introduced from 1995. The chip is passive, so it doesn't need a battery – the code is read when you turn the key in the ignition.
If the transponder chip is broken or missing, the engine won't start and the immobilisers' control unit will have to be reprogrammed if /when you obtain a new key with a new key code.
Car Key and Repair are here to try and minimise the costs on the owner of the vehicle. We are another solution instead of paying the sky high fees which dealerships tend to charge.

Honda Jazz customer came in wanting a spare key cut and programmed to his vehicle. Done the job and customer is very happy now he can use remote functions on his vehicle.

Finished a Citroen c4 , 1 new key requested by the customer as there original key was smashed to bits. Had to read the pin code from the vehicle to programme the 2nd key, takes between 5-20 minutes, and with a battery charger on the vehicle so it has enough power for the supply. Key is cut and programmed and the original key I replaced with a brand new case!

Just finished a Ford Fiesta 2014 vehicle which had no keys. Ordered the keys in, programmed to the vehicle using MVP and happy days for the customer. Now he has 2 working proximity keys for his vehicle and doesn't even need to take his keys out of his pocket to unlock the door
