Hi. We are Caracu.
We’re starting one of the Teesside's most ambitious ever food movements. This isn’t about just opening a casual restaurants, focused on steak but changing the way our beloved area eats forever.
Sure, it’s a pretty big dream and it won’t happen over night, but we want to be the steakhouse that has people demanding we set up shop on their high street.
We want to give everyone the chance to try the best rodizio served steaks in the country, serving happy, healthy cows to hungry, healthy people. And in the process we’ll be making low welfare beef nothing more than a horrible memory.
Named after one of the most popular breeds of cow in South America, Caracu, was established on 14th September 2017. Caracu is refreshingly exciting, offering an intense amount of meats and wild portions of sides and salads unmatched by traditional steakhouses. . You can feast Rodizio with never-ending meat selections, so whether it's a family dinner or a big party, everyone can enjoy a wide variety of different cuts of meat including, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, etc; in succession to each diner individually right at their table, thus there is not a traditional menu. Caracu is the authentic rodizio style restaurant that features an all you can eat fixed price with continuous table-side service.
