Great Western Railway is marking 100 years since the end of the Great War with a special ceremony to commemorate the 2,545 railway workers who were lost in battle. The centrepiece of the ceremony at Paddington station today unveils a special Intercity Express Train featuring the names of all 2,545 men who worked for the GWR and were killed during the war.

The Bootleg Beatles were fabulous on Thursday at St David's Hall and we had the most amazing seats in the second row with an uninterrupted view at the end of an aisle - fantastic as we are both tall and like to stretch our legs out. Just back from watching 'Out of Order' at the New Theatre after winning an online competition with the Cardiff Times. The staff who organised my tickets were fantastic and so efficent and made sure I got tickets for the night I wanted. The play was amazing and the seats were fantastic! I shall certainly be entering more of these amazing competitions! Thanks again for a truely super prize! :-)
