Care and Independence Systems Ltd manufacture, distribute and
maintain patient handling equipment, specializing in hoists, moving
and handling equipment, bathing products and our unique Glove™
slings.

The services include the supply and installation of ceiling track hoist
systems scheduled maintenance and servicing to BS EN
10535: 2006 for all types of hoists as well as service and
maintenance for most other types of care equipment, using genuine
parts.

Our technicians also conduct thorough examinations of all types
of hoist and slings to L. O. L. E. R: 1998. All of the equipment we
supply is manufactured in the UK using only materials sourced in
the UK.

Care and Independence staff provide training for assessment and
use of moving and handling equipment at various locations including
Local Authority sites for Occupational Therapists and
Physiotherapists, NHS Trusts and schools. All Area Managers are
registered with Assistive Technology Practitioners Society which
provides a basis for competencies across the UK.
