About Care Leaver Covenant

The Care Leaver Covenant is a promise made by private, public and voluntary sector organisations to provide support for care leavers aged 16 - 25 to help them live independently. It is funded by the Department for Education and delivered by Spectra. The Covenant team works with organisations to build bespoke opportunities for care leavers, structured across five key objectives: 1. Care leavers are better prepared and supported to live independently2. Care leavers have improved access to employment, education and training3. Care leavers experience stability in their lives and feel safe and secure4. Care leavers have improved access to health and emotional support5. Care leavers achieve financial stability
