CMP is a social enterprise with a mission to be the bestprovider of knowledge to organisations and professionals working in social care. CMP is already well established as a leader in providing evidenced based solutions for improving workforce knowledge and productivity – helpingprofessionals to deliver the best possible services tochildren, young people and adults. The CMP teamare highly experienced in the sector as well as in thedelivery of conferences, events, training and publications. Our staff have been involved in Governmentworking groups, research groups and involved in thegovernance of several charities as trustees. CMP issupported by a range of sector specialists includingprofessors, former service managers, directors andpolicy makers. Service user engagement is at the heart of what we doand our work experience and internship programmeoffers children in care, care leavers and those withmental health issues the opportunity to experiencework and pathways to full time employment. Severalof our employees are young people who have beenin care and gone through our work experienceprogramme. In 2010 we will work with at least anotherten children and young people with care experience togive them opportunities like this.
