Care & Repair Northamptonshire is one of the longest-established, independent charitable home-improvement agencies in the country, and is proud to provide a reliable, friendly and professional service to the communities and individuals of Northamptonshire, with emphasis on keeping the homes of the most vulnerable warm, safe and secure. Our work comprises home security improvements; minor electrical, carpentry and plumbing works; minor adaptations, such as grab rails, ramps and other access improvements; child safety equipment; gardening and fencing; home energy-saving measures, including draught exclusion; and small tasks, including flat-pack furniture assembly. We do these things and more for homeowners, private tenants and council tenants alike. Our activities cover a huge range, and our technicians deliver our services in a committed and personal fashion. This has been our trade since we were founded in 1987. Since that time, we have served thousands of individuals in Northamptonshire, offering, at times where funds are available to us, a "Hardship Fund" to eligible vulnerable persons, and aspiring to affordability for all of our clients. We are enormously proud to launch "Warm at Home", a scheme aimed at helping to keep homes warm. Additional to our individual clients are communities who seek our help in the maintenance of not-for-profit community buildings. Whoever you are, our working relationship with you starts with a free quote or economical home safety assessment, as it is important to us that would-be clients do not feel that access to our services is prohibited by costs incurred before any work has even begun. Since our inception, this campaign to serve the denizens of Northamptonshire has also been our passion. All members of our team, whether working behind the scenes or executing a commission, care deeply for our clients, and lend their passion and assiduity in accomplishing any task within our capabilities at a price that marginalises no-one.
