CAREducation Trust (CARE) have a mission to help underprivileged children in developing countries fight their own way out of poverty through education. It is CARE's firm conviction that all they need is an opportunity, a chance to improve their lives. CARE invests in the children and in their futures. CARE's motives are simple. After all, what can be more rewarding than knowing that you have made a difference in someone's life and given him or her a fighting chance at a better future?WHERE?CARE's work lies within less developed countries where millions of children live below the poverty line. In India, for instance, there are millions of children living in appalling conditions, with some being victims of natural disasters and others facing the biggest dangers within the walls of their own homes. Starving, orphaned, physically and mentally challenged children are all given support in projects across the world. WHY?CARE also works on the basis of zero administration costs. No trustee or officer is paid any remuneration nor reimbursed any costs or expenses incurred whilst on charity's business, including travel and accommodation costs. This ensures 100% of your donations are committed directly to the projects.
