Carers Trust Phoenix

Carers Trust Phoenix has been supporting unpaid carers across the South West for 25 years.

We provide the following support to carers:
Carers Assessment & Information Team - works alongside the local council to assess carers individual needs.
Care Scheme - trained care-workers take care of a person in their own home, enabling their fulltime carer a to take an essential break;
Outreach Service - Drop in respite sessions of personalised support for those with care needs across North Somerset, Bristol and Bath & North East Somerset
Young Carers Service - helps young carers through support groups; info, advice and advocacy; schools work; day trips & residential weekends;
Carers Support Service - raises awareness of issues affecting carers and advises on the support that is available. We run support groups throughout North Somerset with outings, and offer a quarterly newsletter;
Counselling service - we provide professional counselling for carers, improving their wellbeing & mental, emotional & physical health.
Torbay Enabling Service - a flexible, individual and personalised service aiming to provide carers with more choice and control over the support they need by guided self assessing, helping them to access social groups and advocating on their behalf.
In Bristol and Bath & NE Somerset we provide personal care at home.
