Carlotta Actis Barone

Raised and stimulated in a highly creative environment, Carlotta has always been pushed to cultivate and nurture her creativity. After completing a diploma in pattern cutting and figure drawing in Bologna she moved to England and begun study at the Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design on a BA Fashion Print pathway. Carlotta Actis Barone brand was born on January 2010, when she was scouted by fashion agency Fashion Mode, which funded her collection and shows with Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Carlotta Actis Barone style is influenced by contemporary issues. Political and social matters are always the starting point of her collections and they come to life through symbols, shapes and slogans. Press has commonly referred to her as ‘a very distinguished designer' with reference to the messages behind the collections. The wearer becomes a representation of femininity as well as the carrier of a message. The fashion weeks she attended so far are for the seasons: S /S 2011, A /W 2011-12, S /S 2012, A /W 2012-13. Carlotta Actis Barone is now preparing her fifth season S /S 2013
