A Little about me. . . .
My name is Carl Aldridge and I am a qualified City of London Tour Guide.

I am originally from South Africa and I have been living in London since 2008. I am passionate about history and the City of London. I am particularly passionate about Roman history culture and mythology. At university I majored in ancient Greek and Roman culture.


The City of London is the ancient part of the London we know today, stretching back nearly 2000 years and measuring just one square mile. The City has survived wars, fires, plagues and riots yet it has evolved and thrived throughout the ages. It was and still is one of the greatest financial centres.
