Did you know that we have a hidden room on our Nursery Wing? Between the Florence and Priests Hiding Hole rooms, the corridor changes direction to go round this room - one of our team had to climb out of a window, to take the photo for today's fact.ūüďł
It was discovered purely by accident, just a few weeks ago when our General Manager Claire, was on the roof taking pictures.

Went yesterday for the open day really enjoyed and looking forward to the next open day you definitely cannot take it all in in one go and also found there is a spa place there as well and the cafe was also lovely

We went to a lunch event at the Carlton Towers. As I have a very restricted diet due to health issues, I rang in advance and spoke to Charlotte to organise this and she was very understanding, made suggestions and said nothing would be a problem. the day before we went, they called to confirm that they had everything right and went over the menu for me again. To say the venue is stunning is an understatement. You are treated like royalty by the staff, even as I was walking back down the corridor from the ladies room I was asked if I was ok and if they could help. Five gold star luxury.

We had our wedding here on the 2nd of June and it was simply awesome. From the start of the process Carlton have made it really special for us. The team are very professional and experienced so it made us a lot more relaxed. We had a few different ladies dealing with us but we liked them all and each was a pleasure to deal with. The venue itself is so well suited to weddings and really is beautiful. All the guests loved the food (even the faddy ones!) which tells you how good it was. We would highly recommend Carlton to anyone looking to book a wedding. Thank you to everyone at Carlton. You helped make our day really unforgettable for all the right reasons.

We came for the bonfire night to carlton towers. When we got there. There were loads of parking attendants. We didn't get a goodie bag like advertised. But never the less we had a fantastic night. We arrived around 5.45pm so the queues for food wasn't to bad. But there could have been more choice and more food stalls needed. The fun fair was good. Few rides again could have been a few more as the place is massive. The fireworks display was fantastic totally worth going. Only thing I would say was to keep the music going during fireworks would have been much better. Also when we came out there wasn't any parking attendants so we was queuing a while. Thought with the amount of them when we was arriving there would have been some around. But apart from that we had a great night. And we would definitely go back next year ūüėČ xxx

This venue is absolutely beautiful …. It’s the perfect place to get married!



We got very disheartened looking at wedding venues in the beginning, many places make you feel like it a business transaction that you pay a huge premium for. The team at Carlton Towers were different, they never made us feel like that and it’s one of the reasons we decided to book the venue in the first place: Nothing was too much trouble for the team.



ALL the food we had from the canap√©s to the wedding breakfast were unbelievable , we‚Äôve had so many comments from our guests to say how incredible the food was ‚Äď every plate was perfectly displayed and perfectly cooked.



I do want to say a huge thank you to Charlotte who handled my ‚Äúcontrol freak‚ÄĚ nature beautifully and felt like a friend by the time we got to the wedding day.



Finally another huge thank you to the operations team who made our wedding run so smoothly behind the scenes that you really do get chance to just enjoy it!

This place is unreal! Came for a hen do and had the best time ever. Exceeded all expectations. It takes your breath away just driving up to the entrance. The staff couldn't do enough for you. We got a tour when we arrived by the lovely and very knowledgable Claire and even met Lord Gerald out in his vineyard who was so down to earth and friendly. Dave who worked through the night was so accommodating and made the evening so much fun. We were lucky enough to see him again at breakfast and again his attention was fantastic. Phil in the kitchen helped us to continue our fun and ensured Clive took centre stage in the cooking class whilst also being able to share his expertise. Lisa was so so helpful, getting things prepped and making sure we had everything we needed. What would we all have done without her?! And Charlotte who helped organise and coordinate our experience... it has been amazing thank you so much. We could have stayed at many a different hotel but we decided to try something different. We are so glad we did. This is not a hotel it is a home and the Lord Gerald and the staff make it your home for the visit. You would not get that personal touch at a random hotel. You made the stay what it was and we cannot thank you enough. More people need to know about you and I'm going to tell them all!!

Staff were excellent beautiful place and clean could do with keeping mars bars in the bar as I had extremely low blood sugar being a diabetic but other than that can't fault the day as we attended a wedding my partner did say she felt cold a few times inside but I was fine and thought it was very well run

Just want to say how much we enjoyed the Royal Wedding garden party you held on Saturday. It was very well organised and lots of nice touches to make the day special. Well done. Will keep an eye out for further events to attend.

I took my sister on 17 th February for a Birthday treat We had a wonderful day. That house is amazing, a real gem,so warm and welcoming. The staff were really informative and so friendly . Although the tearooms were busy,we managed to get seated ( 5 of us ) in one of the lovely kitchens, we all enjoyed our refreshments. I would defiantly recommend a visit to this beautiful house .

Had the most amazing day watching the Royal Wedding. Hope to visit for another event in the future

Had a very nice afternoon tea in the downstairs tea room followed by a walk around the inside of the very interesting rooms, packed with unusual wooden calving s on meny levels of the house. Very warming atmosphere. We look forward to visiting carlton towers again. ÔŅĹ

Fantastic venue, had a great day and evening at a recent 'hen do' . Food was excellent ,staff were efficient and courteous.

Been here twice now, first time we had our wedding reception here and it was nothing but perfect, we also stayed here for a private celebration, we were not disappointed, all our needs were met, the food was amazing, the rooms are wonderful and the staff here are absolutely fantastic, we have had two fabulous experiences here and I highly recommend a visit!!! We are booking again next year!!

Beautiful place and excellent venue brought back memories of our wedding day, could have improved the tea rooms and service but would not put us off going back.

As always we enjoyed the Winter warmer. The only things which I was disappointed at was not being able to hear the choir and also the Raffle numbers. Otherwise it was a lovely evening.

Also enjoyed our Ladies Christmas Lunch it was even more enjoyable this year the food was amazing and the Chef and staff were lovely. Thank you Carlton Towers

Came for bonfire night,beautiful place and a lovely evening, though for the amount of people there wasn’t enough food and drink stalls and the price was extortionate for the burgers!!! Pizza stall was brilliant n good price. We also enjoyed the hot chocolates and coffee,luckily we ate earlier as after 630 the queues were enormous! Bonfire and fireworks were lovely. It would have been nice to have a few more stalls and things to do in the time before the fireworks started but we did enjoy a walk around and the atmosphere.

We were at the fireworks event for the second year running. Great fireworks. The fair was great for what we needed (we’ve got a 3 year old). However, the hot food options were a massive let down. Not enough available (huge queue at the hot dogs and after queuing for pizza we’re told it had sold out - at 6:30!) we would have liked more drink options too.



Great event.. but please sort the food options for next year (even just a burger/chips stall that bangs them out quickly would do rather than going for alacarte food stalls)

Went to the bonfire night last night and it was rubbish. Seven pounds for a ticket and told we would get a free goodie bag which had two mini bags of Haribo and two glow sticks!! On top of that we weren't allowed one each. It advertised food, drink and rides. We were four adults and all it had was four mini children's rides. There was no bar and only four tiny food stalls with huge queues. We got in the pizza queue where we queued for half an hour. One of our group went to check out the toppings available and noticed a tiny sign saying out of stock but none of the staff had bothered telling anyone so we ended up with no food. The live entertainment was tiny and miles away and the fireworks were no better than free displays. Never going again
