Carlyon Bay Camping Park

Just come back from a week camping with the kids. Can not recommend highly enough the campsite was fabulous!! Clean and very well run. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities on site amazing! The toilets and showers spotless clean. The heated outdoor pools were my kids favourite. The pirate play area and crazy golf was great! Only 10 min walk to beach too! Will be booking for next year for sure!

We have used this as a bolt hole in the middle of our touring trip around Cornwall​ for 2 consecutive years staying 2 nights each time. Hot food available, 2 heated pools, short walk to beach, spacious pitches, nice toilets, showers and washing up. Kids areas could do with a little love and the WiFi that had excellent coverage was unreliable. Minor points to an otherwise fantastic site.

A very friendly welcome "we never turn cyclists and walkers away and we don't overcharge them either" despite being full, space was found for me. And a very fair £8 too. Offered to charge my tablet and when I said I had left the charger at home even took it into their house and did so. I was a lone cyclist and it suited me fine but this is clearly a lovely family oriented campsite.

Great site with good facilities. Pool is heated, crazy golf, good access to a local beach. Small shop. And decent shower facilities.

However our holiday was marred by the view of a row of stored caravans which were green with filth. Also the WiFi, which is free to be fair, doesn't reach the area where we were and no sun in the evening because of the high trees in that corner.

Love love loved this site! Staff were all so helpful and friendly and the food in the courtyard is to die for, especially the banoffee cake!! The facilities are well maintained and extremely clean and plentiful didnt have to once wait to use a shower or loo in the whole week and its all free. Kids had loads to do to keep them entertained whether it be swimming in one of the pools or playing pool, table tennis or fuse ball. Definitely will be back for two weeks next year. Large pitch with shrubbery to provide shelter/privacy. Clean toilets and showers. Large pool and great amenities for kids. Dog friendly. Friendly amenable staff and well shocked shop. Definitely coming again

Brilliant campsite. This site is clean and well equipped. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pitch sizes are very generous. The pool is supposed to be heated but we didn't feel it was, the kids still enjoyed their time in it though. The courtyard area is lovely, as there weren't many of us on site the little food bar was shut but we used the court yard on bad weather to cook under and chill out there.
There are 3 parks for the children, the pools, a little mini golf and then pool, noughts and crosses and table tennis.
Toilets are lovely and well kept. There is a little hair dryer you need to pay for in the toilets, but as we had electric I took my own.
Well kept shop and really reasonably priced too.
Only a ten minute walk to Crinnis beach which is gritty type sand but lovely to get a drink in the pop up bar there.

We had a fab two week holiday here in August. Lovely clean site with very friendly staff. One day we experienced heavy rain, we had escaped out for the day and received a phone call from the camp notifying us that our awning was getting flooded and if we would mind if they entered our awning to sort it! Fab service!
Within walking distance of a beautiful beach with a fab bar and restaurant. Evening entertainment pretty low key but we enjoyed take your own alcohol rule! Lovely clean outside pool. We had an great holiday here and would highly recommend

Great Site, very well maintained and very clean, Well stocked small shop, Entertainment for Kids was great, Shame there is no family Bar or restaurant onsite as this would be a great bonus.

Lovely campsite with lovely owners! Perfect location 5 minutes from the beach. Site has its own shop selling everything you could need. In addition to this they serve food from a small cafe on site, which is ideal if you don't fancy cooking your own Breakfast or dinner. Lovely swimming pool on site too. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!!!

Stayed here in 2015. Great site with good amenities and very child friendly with lots of oportunity for them to play at the various play areas around the site.
Also good cafeteria for an easy dinner if you don't fancy cooking yourself :)
