Carmet are a small and successful family run company. Since 1971 the Company has owned and operated small workboats, large tugboats, launches, survey vessels, flat top pontoons and more recently multi-role vessels. With experience of towage of all kinds of floating plant throughout Britain and Europe, Carmet Tugs has maintained a very high standard of service. Carmet Tugs have been the sole towage contractor on the Manchester Ship Canal since 1989.
