Visited Carnaby Street yesterday with my partner as a birthday celebration. Fantastic, buzzy place to visit with loads of really good shops and bars/restaurants. I would thoroughly recommend visiting Kingsly Court. It’s an area full of different restaurants offering many different cuisines. We chose to eat in Senor Ceviche and it was fantastic. Peruvian food. Highly recommended. Also drank in Shakespeare’s Head pub. It was very busy and a nice traditional pub. All in all Carnaby Street is a great place to visit and really close to Oxford Circus tube so easy to get to. Liberty’s is also just round the corner and well worth a visit if you are out that way; although you’ll need a lot of money if you want to buy anything!

Carnaby London. I like so much. There is great stores there. I was in London United Kingdom in September,8th-18,2017 this year, I was looking for 1960's clothing's & 1960's bands too. I would come there. I know it was very big fashion Mods & Hippies back in 1960's. I am into 1960's fashion lot. I do wear 1960's clothing's lot. Right now I am taking lessons on electric guitar, electric bass too, I will play 1960's sound of music. I think there is amaze stores in Carnaby Street in London United Kingdom.

Great pubs for drinking in sun while watching those who've just shopped walk by in their bling :)

Bustling area of Soho, become a real hub for food and drink with some great spots to try out.

Always visit when im in that part of london.

Such a fantastic day out only down aid is that there are virtually no places open for breakfast in the square

Took my 11 year old to London for her 1st visit last week and I was really looking forward to showing her the great sights and sounds of the Carnaby Street of my art college days in 89/90. Where's the life and soul gone? It's now no different to any other shopping area. It's nice and clean and Dr Martens is still there but that's about it! It's been sold out to the big money making chains who can afford the rents and charge the earth. My daughter loved It but she would have loved it more the way it used to be. �

Such a shame it's gone all commercial and is now just the same as any other shopping street. Was heartbroken to discover all the amazing niche market shops were gone, and with it the individuality and creativity I remember in my youth.

Sterile and soulless compared to the 80's. Camden has carried on in it's place.

Not what I was expecting... same as any other town with a street selling trainers and and shirts... still a nice street though �

Not as individual as it used to be just the usual high street shops and not many you can do the whole experience in well under an hour a bit disappointing �

It’s a street with some shops. If you’ve ever left the house, it’s a bit like that.

Its lost its soul a bit ..still enjoyed seeing and remembering all our yesterdays ..and having tea and cake in Pattisserie Veronica ..

If we talk about local & fair priced shopping, unfortunately that is no more there AND expensive shopping is available at Regent Street & Knights bridge.

This street is losing its charm very quickly.

A hot hot day shame the mac protesters were out in force ruining everyone's day.
