Have used Carole Nash as brokers for years and it is a 'given' that you only know how good your insurers are when you claim. After a very serious accident that ruined my Lambretta, Carol Nash turned what could have been a serious worry into a seem less result. The Lambretta was repaired and I can't thank Carole Nash enough. Ten out of ten!

I've been trying to contact Carol Nash through every contact number possible also emailing them for a urgent query and haven't been able to get through for over a week now! I have been charged £30 for a late payment also due to not being able to cancel my insurance!
I managed to get through to Carol Nash through a sister company then after speaking to someone for 10 seconds they hung up!
Can someone please help?

Recently returned to biking. So went to the only company I had ever used. Today I was charged 20 quid to change the registration number on my bike. 3 cars at my address with private plates. Never been charged before. Their response when I complained..... we could have charged 50. Well Carol Nash I wont renew. And I wont be applying for a six wheel policy. BUT I will leave asap . And I will take my business else where.

Been with Carol Nash for my second year now. Had a break down and they could not have been more helpful. Kept fully informed of location of recovery driver and they arrived earlier then estimated. Fabulous experience from start to finish. Would recommend 100%

Renewed my Multi Bike Policy recently with Carole Nash for my second year with this company. Very fair pricing for year 1, year 2 renewal reflecting the % price rise forecast for all vehicle insurance companies.
As a matter of course I always do an online quote with my existing insurers after receiving my renewal notice and the premium quote came back at virtually the price I paid for year 1. Called Carole Nash and spoke to a very helpful customer service representative regarding the online quote. Without any fuss they honoured the online quote resulting in a happy year 2 renewal customer. The policies Carole Nash offer are fully loaded with breakdown cover, legal cover etc. in the standard pricing and appear to be excellent value, so thank you Carole Nash for your flexibility and competitive policy pricing, look forward to future cover with you. .

Disgraceful company. My step father in law had his insurance with this company for just 1 month when he passed away, so once his widow and a family member felt up to it they telephoned to cancel the insurance. They thought it would be a easy and stress free process due to the circumstances (like other phone calls they had had to make) how wrong they were.
(1) Thoughtless agents had my mother in law in floods of tears.

(3) When family member stated that there was only a will and that he was one of two executors this company demanded a copy of the will (how is the will anything to do with his car insurance???) and also a copy of the death certificate.
(4) Info emailed and days later had a response saying that my mother in law would be having £350 back and that £100 would be deducted (£450 was the original price he paid for the car insurance).
(5) Weeks later a cheque turns up made out to the executor, which no one can cash as they don't have a executors account.
(6) Mother in law telephones and asks about the cashing of the cheque agent blatantly lies and says that she can cash it. (She cannot).
(7) Late last week mother in law had to re telephone and asked for the money to be transferred to her bank account, she was told no to send the cheque back with a covering letter.

All this unnecessary stress and upset caused by this company to a grieving widow. Totally unethical company.

UPDATE:
Had email contact with the below lady and have now put the above in as a official complaint and had it resolved. Had a full refund which has been received and monies on a m&s gift card and also a full apology in writing. Hopefully lessons have been learned, most likely yes.

I've been insured with Carole Nash for a good few years. In my time with them I've been knocked off my bike twice and recently had one stolen. On every single occasion Carole Nash have done me proud. With my most recent theft Aviva as my insurers were dragging their heels and had lied to me. One phone call to Carole Nash acting as my broken got everything sorted in a day. They've got my loyalty and my thanks.

If you want to know why they are so bad all you need to do is ask the staff how they are treated. They treat the staff with appalling disregard so they treat the customers in the same way.

You have been warned

Rosanna I am not going to email, I prefer to do this where everyone can see what is going on and cannot be manipulated for your benefit.

Your staff (and I know several) have still to be paid for December, this money was due to them all before Christmas. How can you expect these people to deal professionally with customers if you cannot deal professionally with them.

Dismal. Stay as far away as possible. After I paid upfront for a year, they sent me a form to give my bike dealer to sign, confirming the value of the bike (which was already clear as it was brand-new). They then sent me an invoice for an "increased premium" which slapped another 15% on an already steep rate. Countless phone calls later they agreed to just stick to the original policy. However, I then kept getting threatening letters for the next 4 months to either pay or have my cover cancelled. Shocking business tactics - should be closed down.

All my bikes together on one policy, for sensible money and with great benefits like European breakdown cover. I'm eligible for the Rider cover too, which meant I could have a go on my mate's MV F4 without the "bend it and mend it" rule being mentioned!

Ultimately, I trust Carole Nash to do a proper job, look after my bikes and be easy to deal with.

I wouldn't use anyone else!

Excellent service. I've been with Carole Nash for years and years. I change bikes frequently, it's not uncommon that I buy and sell 10-15 bikes in a year. When I do I phone them up, pay the fee and get on my way.
The free EU breakdown cover is worth £100 on it's own.
I've insured all sorts of weird stuff with them, including a road-registered mountain bike with a 2-stroke strapped to it - never a problem getting cover.
Yes they do try and sell you add-ons and other stuff but they don't cold call and they don't spam.
Occasionally I look around for other insurers but I always end up back with Carole Nash because they're about right on the money and I'd rather stick with a company that has proven itself.
