I'm a professional genealogist, house historian and historical researcher, based in Portishead, near Bristol. My clients include the BBC, Wall to Wall TV and HSBC. I give talks on a wide range of historical research topics. I have a 1st Class Honours degree in History and am currently studying for an MLitt in Family and Local History. I have over 30 years experience of historical research. I'm a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Society of Genealogists and the Bristol and Avon Family History Society. I'm an Associate Member of the Regional History Centre at the University of the West of England. I'm currently researching and writing a book about the crews of Cutty Sark.
