Always thinking...
Sadly I still need more guest on a daily basis to become a sustainable business. The feedbacks are great, I love it that you love it, and neither the cafe nor my creativity reached the potential.
... Seasonal flavors, special pancakes, pastries and puddings, ice cream... the list goes on. I am watching mouthwatering recipes, but there's no point to make a big batch, and brush everything to the bin...
So I'm sure that most people don't even know about my little shop...
A photo contest is on, with incentives, bonus games will be added ;)
And more people give us a try thank to your recommendations on facebook, google and TripAdvisor.
But maybe it will be about time to change my opening hours again. When I opened the shop in December I was open 8:30. I thought If I'm one of the few places that open early morning, people will find me. My first sales happened after 11am. Seems the town is asleep until that time.
Friday and Saturday I am open till 8pm, trying to grab the attention of the weekend chilltime.
Or Whitley Bay just learned that most cafes are open from 10-16 and instead of reexploring the area, they just go at the usual time to the usual places?
Now that the numbers of followers almost quadrupled compared to winter, I really hope I can get a more relevant answer to this question.
a) Should I go for the earlier morning (8-9 am) A better start of the day and lunch breaks. In the future considering the breakfast menu.
b) Teatime and evening are better. An afternoon walk on the beach with a snack is a much better reward after a long day of work.

The next big chapter of the menu is live:
Pancakes
With this, I can say, the menu is complete, since in Hungary usually Chimney Cakes, Langos and the Pancakes are offered by the same place.
... However the small way I would like to stand out from the other pancake places: * I offer both sweet and savoury In the (not so distant future): * beloved european fillings * introducing specialities, like Crepe Gundel, Crepe of the Hortobagy or my favorite, the fried pancake
The Langos menu recieved a Spinach topping: Garlic-spinach base and 3 paths you can choose from: a) with mushroom, so its suitable for vegan
b) with cheese for vegetarians
c) and ham for the omnivores

I can proudly say, that I am the first StreetAway business that appeared on the map in this area. :D

Very nice new cafe serving a nice variety of really tasty Chimney Cakes - light pastry cooked around a short wooden pole in special ovens. Thinly coated in syrup, then rolled in nuts or cinnamon, or other sweet coatings - really good ! Also serve great coffee, and doughnut ‘ cones’ - look amazing !

Beautiful cakes but even better savoury langosh! And the people working were fantastic, looking after us 6 grown ups and our 4 little ones with samples of chimney cake while we waited for our food. We'll be back!

Absolutely fabulous! Everyone must try the savoury langosh, and the chimney cake was to die for. Really nice place run by lovely people!
