The Carpenters Arms, Great Wilbraham, is a pub restaurant offering the finest French ├Ć La Carte menu, bar snacks, lunchtime menus and traditional Sunday roast within a traditional English country pub setting complete with bar billiards and local ales.

Located halfway between Cambridge and Newmarket the pub was neglected for many years before Rick and Heather Hurley returned from running an award winning restaurant in the South of France to transform it for gourmet food lovers and locals alike. The restaurant area has been extended and transformed for fine dining while the bar area remains a cosy retreat for enjoying a pint, a chat and traditional pub food.

So whether it's a special night out or a light lunch you'll find the highest standard of food and a great atmosphere at the Carpenters Arms.

Beer festival off to a good start last night, continues all day today and tomorrow. 9local beers and 3 craft ciders. Barbecue available: burgers, hot dogs and pulled pork rolls. Tonight local dj /entertainer, tomorrow live music session with some musician friends and our landlord, Rick, on drums from 2.30pm

Had a lovely wild burger ¤Źö and Blue Becks because of work after. Very friendly " grandpa " with excellent customer service and good word for the end. High recommend place.

Had a lovely lunch at The Carpenters Arms, food was amazing, plenty of information regarding Gluten Free options, all dishes were delicious ’┐Į

Would recommend taking a trip out there, Sunday lunch is advised to book but will definitely be going again.

The data were lovey and attentive, but not too attentive and in your face.

Wouldn't have changed thing about our day today x X
