I am very excited by our new product. A mini, portable painting screen. Child sized, with little handles so it can be carried around. Perfect for individual mark making, painting, shaving foam. Excellent for smaller settings/childminders who have limited space. The screen size is A4. ... I shall be trying it out in my class this week so will make sure I get some pictures of it in use.

I'm in the workshop this afternoon (not usually my domain) , helping to build a prototype of maybe a new product 🤔

We were very pleased and excited to deliver our first bespoke wonky playhouse to 'Frantastic Preschool', Southport last week. It has been developed into a cosy reading retreat which we are sure the children will absolutely love.

Hello and a belated Happy New Year to all our followers and customers. We are working hard on orders recently received, to be sent out across the country. We do have this smaller size balance scales avaliable now (Not with buckets, they can be purchased from any DIY shop).

Thank you for visiting Carpenter's Woodcraft. We are a husband (Steve) and wife (Sue) team, both with full time jobs, making educational items for Early Years settings and classrooms with an aim to keep the prices low and affordable without compromising the quality of the products. Sue is an Early Years Lead, working with preschool and reception. Everything we make is tested within Sue’s learning environment and given the seal of approval by the children (and staff!). We ar...e happy to take orders via PM and can accept BACS or Cheque payment. We aim to dispatch ordered items 6-8 weeks after receiving payment; currently everything is made to order. Sometimes we have extra to sell which we will post on our page. From January 2019 most of our products will be offered with free postage and packing. This is to reflect what we offer here as we also now have Carpenter’s Woodcraft Bespoke which is different range of products that we offer. We have been working continuously throughout the year and we thank you all for your support. We are aiming to offer some new Early Years products in the new year so watch this space. We have been working really hard over the last few months fulfilling the amazing amount of orders we have received. Thank you for your continued support. Sometimes it is important to do other things and we made an end grain chopping board as a gift. The feedback was very positive so we have made the decision to offer bespoke, individual chopping boards for sale. End grain chopping boards are the gold standard of chopping boards, being long lasting, knife friendly and hygien...ic. They make the perfect birthday, Christmas or wedding present. The one in the photos is 40cm long, 28cm wide and 4cm thick. It is treated with 100% food safe mineral oil and wax. It has generous hand holds at either end and rubber feet for stability and ventilation. It weighs approx 3.5kg. It has been created using oak, ash, maple and rosewood. £55.00 (free P&P).

As many of you that follow us work in Early Years setting or schools I feel compelled to ask you to sign this petition against the new reception baseline TEST. Testing 4 year olds in their first few weeks of school is just not right and we know they just need to play, make friends, investigate the environment and build strong relationships with the adults. It is also costing £10million, money that could be invested in Early Years. We wanted to thank all our customers for their continued patience. We had a lot of interest in our products and a flurry of orders were placed before Christmas. Following on from a short break over Christmas and some equipment failure we may be a little behind with some of the orders.
