A lovely start to the week, messy Halloween 🎃 play at the new Grasmere School toddler group, Park fun on the way home then Autumn 🍂 crafts after school. 🍂 🎃

Thank you Amy from Budding Babies for the gloop. We loved it! I’ve cleaned it all up now, don’t know why as they want it again in the morning! X

Fun on the school run!

We’ve come to the end of a bitter sweet week. We had great fun pond dipping on our nature walk at the Rising Sun during the final day of the school holidays, followed by tears on the first day back (mine). The littlies, myself and Granny Linda had a very enjoyable day at Seaton Deleval Hall. However we were all sad to say goodbye to Granny L today. 😢

Thanks for lunch girls! Everyone pitched in today making delicious omelette muffins. Yum yum 😋

What a great day we had today at the Teddy Bears Picnic. The Rising Sun Country Park put on a fab event, we enjoyed the magician, going on a bear hunt, a lovely toddlers dance class and parachute activities, and of course it wouldn’t be a trip to the Rising Sun without a splash in the stream!

We’ve been having such a busy time I’m posting a weeks update in one! The children and I have had a lovely time catching up with friends, exploring Beamish Museum and the Giants Garden at the Rising Sun Country Park, making wonderful creations with many types of dough and crafts, and of course jumping in muddy puddles!

Thank you Firtree Farm Riding School for our pony rides today. It was the little ones first time, she was a bit apprehensive but your girls put her right at ease.

Parklife!

Exploring the different craft materials, started with paintbrushes then some mov d to painting their own hands for prints. All resulted in fantastic Christmas crafts they can proudly show off to their families. X x

Christmas crafts have begun!

These two are really enjoying the puzzles at the moment, here’s one from last week. They took turns placing a puzzle piece and had fun copying the animal sounds. Great teamwork girls!

The children are not ready for Autumn yet, they enjoyed mixing the autumn colours but asked for the bright colours again about 30 seconds later!

A lovely end to a lovely summer. Not sure if today's highlight was H chatting away to the goats (again) or E trying to talk the falconry into letting him take Hercules the Owl home with him! 🐔🐷🐮🐰

Three very focused girls expressing their creativity this morning 🎨, followed by some fun in the sun this afternoon which ended in an impromptu water fight! 💦

🌻Spring🌻 A little bit late posting these but we had a lovely time this spring. The children have been enjoying exploring the new outdoor kitchen (thank you Matthew) and expressing their creativity in their many arts and crafts sessions. 🌻🐐🐠🐞🐣👒🌂

This was a lovely afternoon at the Rising Sun Country Park jumping in puddles, collecting treasures and meeting the animals.
