love this place wonderfull staff they go above and beyond to help animals are very well looks after and well trained there is even a café where you can get a brew and a snack

We had my daughters 6th birthday party here yesterday , it was the best party we have done - Sharon was so helpful from start to finish she made it so easy and left me with nothing but the cake to organise. Some of the party of 10 had rode before but most were total beginners but the lady who took the party was excellent at making them feel comfortable and confident they all left asking for lessons and their next party’s there. I couldn’t recommend Carrington riding school highly enough if your thinking of booking a party you won’t regret it ! Thanks again for making Islas day so special and memorable, we will defiantly be back

Took my daughter Ella-Grace here this weekend. She loved the group lesson on Saturday that much that she has enrolled into Rosette Club and went again today (Sunday) Very reasonable prices too!!

Thank you Carrington and lovely Fuzz for a brilliant afternoon ! My 3 year old was simply beyond himself and carried on talking about his tiny tots session right until bed time ( apparently Fuzz would fit perfectly into his bedroom)! His little sister is now jealous and can't wait to turn 2 to be able to join the fun. We'll be back soon for some more pony magic :)

My daughter loves this riding school and always asks when she is next going we take her every Sunday all the staff are very friendly and helpful and great facilities for all the family including a cafe ���

My daughter has been wanting to try horse riding for a while now and so I finally got round to booking an hours private lesson for me and her this afternoon.



Sharon who made our booking was great, making the whole process easy and helped us feel totally relaxed about being absolute novices.



Lucy who took us for our lesson was lovely and got us going really quickly. We had half hour in the arena learning the basic skills and then a half hour trek in the countryside. It was fantastic!



Then we even managed to grab a sandwich and tea cake in the cafe!



Thanks for having us and we’ll definitely be seeing you again soon. (Although my legs may disagree in the morning!)

My daughter had her birthday party here today and it was fantastic. They loved grooming and feeding the horses as well as riding them. All the staff were amazing and were really good with all the girls. Thank you so much.

My boyfriend came for his first ever riding lesson today at Carrington, he had sat on one of my own twice but that was it prior to coming here. I thought the lesson was fantastic, the instructor was lovely and explained everything to him brilliantly. Brambles was a great horse for him to have his first lesson on and by the end he was doing rising trot. Very impressed, thank you!

It is a warm and welcoming family business.We have been coming since my son was 2 he's loved it and had his 3rd birthday party here. Parents were impressed how much the children enjoyed riding and grooming the ponies. We have just been for today's teddy bears picnic and he loved every minute of it. Thank you.

Imogen has absolutely loved her two lesson on the Tiny Tot courses. It’s given her so much confidence with the horses. Staff are amazing with everyone.

Imogen’s looking forward to coming back again on Saturday for the beginners class and wearing her Carrington Riding T-shirt. ��

Everyone here is amazing and so friendly and kind. They approach to the kids is amazing.

I started by bringing my 3 year old to tiny tots and then after a few weeks changed and went to lessons as she was more interested in riding. She absolutely loves riding and loves her best friend Poppy.



We did the teddy bears picnic today and it was a massive hit. She got to feed, groom and go round all the horses and stables... (even got to go say hello to Poppy)�



She even loved the mucking out part�



Best part for her was the time in the arena as she got to "go faster" on her pony which she really loves!



Thank you all so much for making the riding and the time spent here both enjoyable and brilliant! Will defo recommend to friends/family.

I've been to many riding schools over the years and I can safely say that Carrington is one if the best. The staff are well trained and professional, Sharon that runs it is lovely and great at organising everything and sorting out any minor hiccups quickly and with a smile. The facilities are great too, I've never known a proper "horsey" place to have a great cafe with fresh food and drinks and a place for relatives to sit out of the cold and have such a good view of most of the schools.... of which there are 5! I wish I could give it 6 out of 5.

I love this place !! My daughter has ridden here for over 6 years and had 3 pony parties over that time!! We have now moved house and tried 2 other riding centres , but she says nowhere compares to the ponies and staff at Carrington - so we drive past multiple other riding centres every Sunday to come here !! Such a wonderful atmosphere , with friendly, helpful and caring staff , and the ponies are just beautiful , with a wonderful temperament. As its a working farm , there are lots of dogs around too , which is an added bonus as the kids love playing with them and pampering them. I can't imagine my weekends without coming here . If you love horses ( doggies) , friendly and compassionate staff who will go the extra mile to make you happy - then this is the place for you !!

I have been riding at Carrington Riding Centre for nearly two years now, it has the most super atmosphere, friendly and caring staff, a great variety of activities, lovely ponies and horses and my riding has improved too! Wonderful place.

My daughter attended a pony party here with her school friends yesterday. The last thing you expect to see is your 5 year old being thrown from a pony, hanging underneath it whilst the pony is out of control. I can safely say we won't be returning and would suggest that greater care is taken by staff when choosing the appropriate ponys for the appropriate age range of children!!!!

We were very lucky that it was only her hand that was trampled on, i shudder to think of what "could" have happened �
